Got a kick out of reading the Washington Post a few days ago, specifically Culpepper's piece on the role of defenses in recent Superbowl games. On the Tampa D, he quips:

"Clearly, they became unstoppable once they survived Taylor Heinicke."

Thanks for posting a contract that matched the news reports amounts. As they say, the Devil is in the details. 04-cheers

Just sucks that Haskins made so much more $MM than this without doing anything on the field, for so many games. Ugggh

I really believe coaching staff would like to give TH a shot at winning job. I think the players really like him and that WFT does not want to give up young talent. I expect to see maybe Mariotta or Fitzpatrick to wind up in camp

Thought Taylor said he would need surgery on his shoulder. Any news on how he's recupersting? Maybe he's just doing PT.

No surgery. He said he is already at 100 percent.

I was trying to find where I read this (I think). Has anyone else seen comments by TH that he wants to get together with the receivers during the off season and work on routes, timing and QB / Receiver chemistry? Maybe I dreamed it?

RE: Taylor Heinicke
So I went back and watched the Buc/WFT game again. I thought what Al Michaels said was funny about TH: "Taylor Heinicke was finishing up his math degree at Old Dominion University taking Partial Differential Equations, Computational Methods, etc a few weeks ago. Just imagine that some of the other students taking those zoom classes with him are now saying... That guy in our zoom class is now playing quarterback on TV?!"

That's funny to think about.

I believe Mike Tirico broadcast that game, not Al Michaels, but yes, a witty comment.
