Sitting at home to rest your players for the week is playing not to lose.

I want to play to win.

I don't see jumping Cincy if they don't lose. Beating #9 won't get past #6 maybe with collapse of BIG12 Cincy has shot at playoffs and jumping them won't be an issue. It's not so much about resting players, there's still the little matter of COVID19, which BYU is probably the safest non-conference team to play there's always a risk of multiple players testing positive after that game and missing final two games. I guess a win at BYU missing last two games probably wouldn't hurt rankings, but who knows. Let's face it if BYU has designs on playoffs or an upper tier bowl game the last thing they want is a team that could beat them that late in their season. They have no championship game to use as rebound.
