RE: Congrats to Tubbs
I understand that, as a freshman Senator, Tuberville will likely be assigned to the golfing and folksy anecdote committees.

Same on Fox but there is little difference anymore between CNBC and Fox.

Are we sure they haven't found a million new votes in Alabama to keep Tubbs out?

Maybe he'll be great at it, seems Alabama qualified. I'll never forget that night in Tampa, sitting with the visiting fans/player's parents. When the wheels had long since fallen off, early second quarter. And he kept walking through the huddle with that hands on hips, elbows forward, headphones on. Someone said, he is so angry he cant even talk to them. And someone else said, he just doesn't know their names.

Hey Slow Joe is going to make loser Doug Jones his AG. What is it with AL Senators becoming AG?

LMFAO Tuberville not knowing the three branches of government, not knowing why WW2 was fought and thinking Al Gore was "president-elect" for 30 days. I know everything is partisanship now but can't all Bearcat fans keep laughing at what a bozo Tuberville is (even if you're happy he won because it's one less D in the senate).

Yeah, I totally understand why Republican Bearcats fans are happy he won. I get it. I'd feel the same way if he was a Democrat. But he's still an idiot.

Yes, as a Republican I'm glad he's there to vote the party line but it's comical how clueless he is. Hopefully they don't expect him to lead any committees.

I bet the Squad is a hell of a lot worse.

The squad isn't relevant to Bearcat fans getting to continue ripping on a disastrous former Bearcat football coach without fear of it being considered political.

Neither is Tubs knowledge about what you posted. Lots of media declared Gore the winner until the Florida recount was finished. Did Tubs flub an question about the 3 branches of government? BTW why do you think WW2 was fought?

RE: Congrats to Tubbs
I blame Whit Babcock for Tubs. Remember he didn't even have a sit down interview. I blame the guy that basically gave a multi million dollar contract because of name recognition than I do coach accepting the position.

Note: I was a fan of the Tubs hire. Still like him more than Butch TBH . Obviously it didn't end well at all lol. Who cares what he's doing now. He'll vote party line as already mentioned and most who voted for him I'm sure knew he wasn't going to be doing anything of significant importance besides have a vote in the senate.

My applauding the Tubs hire was my all time worst take on anything.

Lots of us were right there with you, though some would probably deny it now. It was a bold stroke in the college football world for a program that had always hired up and comers and was losing the lofty BCS 6 platform as the Big East disintegrated.

Truly, the two best days for Bearcat football were the day he arrived and the day he left.
