I was a wedding during last year's game. Looks like Holgerson identified the deep ball as the best way to attack us. Wondering if he does the same thing this season.

It was a very close game last year.

On the whole, I can't figure out if Houston is better, worse or about the same as last season? UC is demonstrably better than last season in my mind and while Nippert isn't quite as intimidating, the Cougars have to travel to our house.

I'm hoping UC pulls away early and piles it on heavy. If there was ever a year for style points, this is it. We'll worry about next year, next year.

Game channel moved.. Getting even better put from ESPN to ABC

also looks like the crew will change. we'll likely get Dave Pasch and Mike Golic with Quint Kessenich reporting.

Golic historically has been good to UC when he talks.

He is from Ohio- sister lives in Milford IIRC. He always used to talk about his brother in law who is a Bengals/Reds fan. His son Jake played here as a grad transfer.

BYU beat UH 43-26 but UH lead 26-21 at the start of the 4th Q.

So we have a target to shut for!

Their top receiver and biggest big play threat, Marquez Stevenson, is out this game with a bum ankle. They'll be lucky to get 10 on the black cats.

Seriously though, that would appear to be a major concern for the Cougars going into this game.

Looked like it was a pretty significant shoulder injury. I say take your time and get healthy we will likely need him more later on.

Per his weekly media press conference today, he said they were going to wait until after Wednesday to gauge any injuries (team has no practice today due to Election Day).

The AAC trend continues. Playing against high powered offenses with no defenses. In Houston's case, less of an elite offense than SMU and Memphis.

Wait until he receives the back alley beatin' from UC...

Holgerson always looks like he just got rescued from being lost in the woods for a week.

I think Houston may score a bit more only because i think the subs will be in sooner than later.
