Hampton Univ - Will this start the ripples?

There may be a few schools that follow something similar but I think the vast majority of schools plan on playing in the spring unless COVID gets really out of control.

You might want to amend the title to Hampton U Spring Sports Cancelled to avoid confusion; I thought ODU had shut down spring sports.

I think Hampton is the second school to cancel spring sports; Bethune-Cookman cancelled all sports for the school year, basketball included. It's possible more will follow, though it'll also be harder for ADs to justify not playing outdoor sports while allowing indoor ones that should be less safe for participants and fans, at least so far as COVID goes.

Don't give Wood any ideas.
