I do understand the intended result of the order. If someone becomes ill with the Rona, it is an easy way to notify people who were in the same place at the same time of possible exposure.

But Prison time for not complying? C'mon Tom, that is just a little over the top - no?

Your guy decided to let the state's run the pandemic, so it rings pretty hollow now that you decry how they go about it.

UP to.

Quote:Violations of the order are considered a misdemeanor crime, punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 or up to six months in jail.

“Our strong preference, and that of our law enforcement partners, is education and voluntary compliance,” Gordon said. “Nobody is wanting to punish but penalties are available.”

Either punishment is way beyond harsh Tom - just stop it.

Explain why this "mandate" is important. Most people with common sense can see the reasoning and will probably comply with a simple ask. When you come off like f-ing Hitler with "do it or go to Jail" people are going to push back.

If you don't put up a stop sign at an intersection, many will never stop.

The guy clearly says he hopes it will be voluntary. No, I don't see them jailing anyone unless they become a complete ass.

RWT would be fine with Big Gretch requiring forearm tattoos for easier identification.

But they scoff at requiring an ID to vote....

Pretty ironic if you ask me.

How about just an armband with a star on it if you don’t take the vaccine.

Not really. Europe has had draconian lockdowns but there is a huge spike there. Someday, someone is going to figure out that viruses spread. You can have all the lockdowns you want, wear masks, social distance, etc., it is still going to spread. It's a virus. A virus that has a really low morbidity rate. But you already know that.
