but of course it is easy to get the last laugh when the 3 and 4 win seasons with lots of beat downs from programs they think are "below them" show back up with a frequent vengeance

they pretend their athletics are some shot caller in the CUSA and that what they think matters....they waste a ton of money on bad results, do not even have baseball and suck at pretty much every sport other than perhaps women's soccer (where they are just good in the CUSA)

I should have bolded my part of your post I took exception with. My issue was not with what you posted on our board. Everyone gets an opinion, and I honestly don't disagree with your conclusion.

My issue is with your slight... UNT "board" (if you can call it that). I did not see where you stated that opinion on the gomeangreen board.

gomeangreen is not perfect, and I regularly argue with many of the posters on there. But, it is our board.

That board is absurd. The air quotes around "board" were only intended to point out some of the absurdities going on over there......e.g., huge negative rep, The limits on the number of posts I'm allowed to make per day is one. That right, ONE POST PER DAY ALLOWED. I can't even get in a debate with another poster, because I'm not even allowed to finish my argument if I've reached my daily limit... Lots of silly, childish rules & people over there, which frankly makes that "board" very deserving of air quotes. It's not really a free speech sports board at all. And I've never seen another one like it.

I wasn't kicked out of north Texas state, but even if I was that does not change the facts of what I say about north Texas state

while you were busy trying to find out who I am or what schools I might care about north Texas state was busy having a $100 million dollar accounting irregularity

they were busy letting idiotic dallas politicians hijack the system and use it to divert funds and short funds for the Denton campus to build unneeded and failed crap in dallas proper like a community college disguised as a 4 year university and a law school that has failed to get full accreditation for years (when there was not even a need for a law school in dallas much less a crappy one)

they churned through presidents including one that came out of retirement and then was given the position because he was such a do nothing yes man

they continue to swap out tenured and tenure track professors for temps and lecturers

they are being left in the dust for NRUF funding by UTA, UTSA and even Texas State that was not even eligible for it when the program started.....but if you listen to the north Texas state forum it was going to be them and uH and MAYBE Texas Tech that were going to just be handed that funding until politicians got involved......which is not true and never was

then north Texas state thought they would cheat their way in by merging the medical school into the main campus, but The State of Texas said no and the med school wanted no part of that

and now years later after uH and Tech both qualified as soon as they were possibly eligible UTD has now qualified and UTA probably will this year......then it will be UTSA and possibly Texas State in 4 to 6 years.....then north Texas state and UTEP can fight it out to see who will be last......which based on the restricted research numbers where UTEP actually already qualifies it will not be them it will be north Texas state 8th out of 8 (7 when the program started)

but yea keep trying to find out more about me and tell people I was kicked out of somewhere......while ignoring reality and keep watching the "system" steal money over and over from Denton to waste in dallas
