This.

HeyZeus on a unicycle. Both of you realize this is the ODU mating call no? You’ll have them arguing about the lack of fouls called in the game last year again.

I count every Western game a loss until the final buzzer blows. But that’s just me from being Western’d too many times. I’ll definitely take the two wins but it means nothing right now.

No, we're busy debating whether Maryland is a good team and if we're already screwed for this season, along with the season premiere of the long-running series Fire Jeff Jones

Yeah, I’ve been on your board before and witnessed that one. I would lol but that’s not an lol’ing matter. I have no idea on the Maryland is a good team subject.

Excellent work, WKUYG.

How did you obtain these images?

Fast forward only looking at the score...+3 stop it rewind take a picture. Westerns 3point defense isnt good, give up way too many open looks. But some of those shots a defense will gladly give up. Some were with a hand in the face. Western has a bad habit of making role players look like Bird or Jordan....

Noah Carter avg 4ppg last year and I think he hit 9 threes in that game...20 total last year.

Seems like the conference has improved from last year, if only slightly.

USM's weekend game at SIU has been cancelled/postponed to next season. Next up for USM is a road trip to Tulane next week (Wednesday, Dec 9)

Quietly putting together a nice non-conference performance. Mostly beating the teams we should but it's a start.

Western Ky. holds on beat Gardner-Webb by 2 pts. at home. Bulldogs missed a 3-pt. shot at the buzzer to seal it. Glad for the W but it should never have been that close.

You would think so but Gardner-Webb had a damned good team tonight. Very scrappy. I think they would have beaten some good teams tonight. We played our normal soft 3pt defense and it showed. They were 8-12 at halftime. We FINALLY extended out out defense after halftime.
Note: Bassey--29pts--14rebounds--7-8blocks (leads the nation in total blocks and per game.

UAB with a 65-61 road win at ETSU to improve to 6-0. Best start in program history.

All the strong teams y’all have had over 40+ years, I’m stunned this is first one to start 6-0.

Very surprising when considering the teams from the past. Level of competition has been sub par to say the least but we’ve been taking care of business accordingly. Huge test Dec. 23rd at home vs Georgia Tech, we’ll see how we handle it. Happy so far

Well that's due in part to playing an abysmal schedule so far playing 3 of the bottom 25 teams in America and a D2 squad (SOS of 309/357). Should definitely be 5-1 at the absolute worst. Conference needs UAB to be good and the matchup with Ga Tech will be the first real test for the blazers. Great opportunity for a nice OOC win.

Niners defeated Davidson and keep the Hornets Nest Trophy. No matter how much we suck, it's always great to beat Davidson. Charlotte is now 30-17 all time versus Davidson.

We’re just 5-6 against the Sun Belt, even though the C-USA team was playing at home for 9 of the games.

But the league is 41-33 against all NCAA Division I opponents so far. Improvement over recent years, although a lot of that is explained by going 15-1 against SWAC/Southland.

We were 49 - 39 at this point last season with an opponent ranking average of 208. This season we are 55-33, but our opponent average ranking has been 226. I'd say we are pretty much the same as a conference as we were last season.

I agree with your bottom line but how did you calculate the average opponent ranking?
