I'm no fan of Rogan, but I will admit once in a while, he gets some good interesting people on his interview couch...
Now as for Alex. it's just fun to watch him blather out conspiracy after conspiracy, with him eventually hoping that one of them will stick. I swear one of these days during one of his rants, he's gonna just blow up like a big balloon...
I didn't watch the interview, but I watched a Tim Poole video with jack Murphy and they brought up the Rogan-Jones interview.
They said a few times Jones said something and Rogan said "no way". Rogan had somebody fact check and sure enough... there it was, evidence supporting what Jones said. They mentioned a USA Today article.

REfusing cause it Jones, or in general? And what's the 100MM dollars? Is that what his viewer/listener base is worth.subscribers etc?
the way it was worded it sounded like a settlement for damages or something.
Is Jones still off the various platforms? Has he ever threatened anyone or caused someone harm? He always appeared as a relatively harmless kinda goofball "provocateur" to get clicks and listens(?).
Spotify paid $100 million for the exclusive rights to air Rogan's podcast. That's big money in the podcast industry.
I can only speculate as to why Spotify took the episode down, but my guess is that he spewed a bunch of bull**** conspiracy theories and misinformation that had to do with the upcoming election.
For what it's worth, I just checked my spotify feed and the episode is up and playable now...
I watched the whole interview. Rogan did a good job of keeping Jones on track and having his producer bring up cited sources on the fly as they were talking. They definitely got into the conspiracy theory stuff but it was well put together and a lot of it came off as not entirely implausible.
The overarching theme from Joe's point of view was that he wasn't taking sides or necessarily buying into anything just denouncing the censorship taking place and the slippery slope that it can be.

That's what I do. I can't deal with 3 hour podcasts, so I look for interesting subjects or guests. Most of those clips are 5-10 minutes or so.
As for Rogan, he's all over the place politically. He was for Bernie, but won't vote for Biden b/c he's senile. And he says both nice and critical things of Trump.
He's an equal opportunity offender, lol, but the left overreacts to him, as they do to everybody who says anything good about Trump, or won't vote for Biden. They loved him when he supported Bernie, lol.

The only 3+ hour podcasts I can listen to are Dan Carlin's Hardcore History series. I've listened to the one on WWI and Japan's rise leading up to WWII. Both were very good, and highly recommended.

Rogan's a 1990s-style "live and let live" liberal, that actually believes in open minds and free speech and doesn't just use the concepts as bludgeons to attack his opponents. If Bill Hicks was still alive, he'd more than likely be a regular on the show. Rogan just seems all over the place politically because he's a relic. There used to be far more people like him before woke culture started to catch on.

RE: Alex Jones back on Joe Rogan
I’m not a rabid Joe Rogan guy, but I’ll check him out sometimes to help pass the time while I do yard work or work out. I’ve also made my peace with the fact that I’ll never get through a full episode. The thing about Rogan is that he will let people talk and he stays respectful even when he disagrees with them. Plus, not every episode is controversial. His recent episode with Bill Burr is hilarious.
Oh, and the Alex Jones episode shouldn’t be taken down, but it doesn’t change the fact that Alex Jones shouldn’t be taken seriously by anyone.

He also is a bow hunter and gun owner who believes in the 2A, so not sure that's a liberal POV.
Actually, on the surface, although we certainly don't agree on everything politically, he and I seem much alike. Hard to pigeonhole.

It certainly isn't nowadays, but in the past it was more mainstream.

I agree with that. Just hard to imagine now. And I have been following political campaigns since 1952. Eisenhower vs. Adlai Stevenson, lol.

Plus he's a gearhead! A blood type match with the petroleum running through my veins!
Check Out Joe Rogan's Insanely Epic Car Collection
If I had to pick, I'd go with the Nova or the Bronco.
