The leadership in this conference might not be up there where fans think it should be But I seriously doubt they would do something as stupid as to stick by rules made before knowing how all of this would play out.

Marshall vs UAB will be the championship game and if not (at least Marshall is a lock) then I will jump on board with the rest of you on how dumb the leaders in CUSA are. But lets not forget....ADs vote on every rule so those making the stupid rules are not who some of you think they are.

I think the original intent of the rule was to give additional credence to teams who play games and are healthy.

In fact, the rule is hurting Marshall the most, as all of our postponements came at the decisions of other programs

ODU canceled its season
Rice with it's slow start
FIU with a recent outbreak

I think Marshall fans would feel a lot better if the conference stepped up and laid some additional ground rules.

As for the OOC scheduling, the only open date we had was this Saturday November 7th. UAB was the only CUSA team available, and they did not want to play.

It's just extremely frustrating from the Marshall perspective. We also have right and history to be weary of this conference admin making the correct call.

ODU and Rice should not count against Marshall, period. If the games never take place give Marshall a win on paper to get them where they need to be numbers wise.

If the league even tries to put somebody other than Marshall in the championship the west winner needs to call the AD at Marshall and let them know the buses will be arriving Saturday morning, regardless of what they’ve been told to do.

IMO, UTEP has a real chance to beat UAB in El Paso. UTEP has improved, and appears to be hungry. If that happens, LA Tech may be playing Marshall in the championship game.

Only FIU is on pace to be ineligible if it doesn't reschedule at least one game. 4 is more than one less than the rounded down average of 6, where 5 is not more than one less.
