It's ok, Joey and Jesse put him in his place. Jesse bringing up Houston as the common opponent between UC and BYU was spot on. BYU's schedule is fuggin' SOFT as well.
PAC 12 just announced that they are allowing their conference teams to fill empty weeks on the schedule with out of conference games. You'd have to wonder if we get on the phone with Oregon or USC should we win this week.

I don’t see it happening, but I would love to schedule a game with any number of P12 teams. I just don’t think it’s going to happen though for a number of reasons.
Cincinnati is a playoff contender, too. The Bearcats are saddled with the "they're not in the Power 5" excuse, but that seems particularly foolish this season. Cincinnati just went to the Bounce House and won. Its defense proved deserving of all the hype, holding UCF to fewer than 400 yards of offense for the first time since the 2019 Fiesta Bowl against LSU. And what's the case that the American Athletic Conference is any worse, top to bottom, than the Big 12, Big Ten or Pac-12 this season? If Cincinnati runs the table, its path to the playoff -- at SMU, Memphis, at UCF, at Tulsa -- will have been as tough as, say, Notre Dame's or Ohio State's. It's 2020, so of course this is the year a team outside the Power 5 deserves a playoff bid.
Well 4 is all we need to have a shot. That said, this is predicting teams below us lose some of their games but it’s nice to see that they are actually showing us as the 4th best chance.
If we go undefeated (and BYU) and don’t get it, hopefully that will be the driving force behind expansion as that would give us a legit path to the CFP which would help our program even more.
The committee needs to look at expanding the CFP to 8 teams. Not just for UC and BYU but to address the difference in number of games teams in the P5 play. For instance, does an undefeated (6-0) PAC12 team beat out a 9-1 SEC team? Do those extra games mean nothing? The selection process is going to be ugly this year and an 8-team playoff is the only way to resolve the problem.

I saw the UC Bearcat mascot battling the UCF mascot in the background at Lee Corso's house on Gameday.
Any chance we couldget a vidoe into Gameday somehow of the UC Bearcat holding a sign that says, "Someone teach Herbstreit how to pronounce 'Cincinnati'"?
Anything that gets us discussed more and lets the other people pick on Herbstreit would be helpful.

In other words, "2020 has been a year of change, but we are not ready to give up our flawed championship system that excludes 95% of FBS teams, and protects the 10 favored blue bloods."

If (see: when) Gameday comes to Nippert then I say someone needs to have that sign ready in the background
