As good a place as any for this..

Jerk Gregg Marshall is getting canned and Thad Wassa Matta is rumored to be on the short list to replace him.

That would be an interesting turn of events. Whatever we think of Matta because of past rivalries, the guy can recruit and coach and the American needs all the help we can get to raise the basketball profile and performance.

He hasn’t really recruited since before Trump’s inauguration and he could barely walk by the time he left OSU in 2017. Color me skeptical of that marriage working well.

If he's committed and healthy he's a great hire, but I agree with you, there is no reason to really believe that is the case.

Not a Thad Matta fan whatsover but do think he's a very solid/good coach. I like this as they'll need a bit of a transition period. Thad should keep them competitive at minimum for the time he is there I would think.

Rick Pettino would be interested.

Sorry, his smug look while at OSU when they were beating us after scheduling us during the down years turned me off on this guy. I will be happy watching the cats whip his tail over the next several years until he is fired!
