RE: AAC basketball preview
We need Keith to take it to his highest ceiling this season. How about a little love for the "NKU JV guy?"

Yea, i actually think Vogt is the key to this team. Not a lot of big kids anymore. If he can be dominant inside on offense finishing it will open a lot up.

This is not surprising from watching the games.

I think I remember when he tore it, but cannot remember the team.

He got tied up by a defender in the paint as they went down to the floor, and the guy had him hooked, and jerked his shoulder. I remember Vogt reacting in pain and holding his shoulder.

It was a cheap shot move that the refs didn't do anything about.

That would account for his drop off. It was a punk play!

I like Keith Williams quote at the end of the Enquirer article this am:

“Everyone is fully bought into the style of play and everything,” Keith Williams said. “Every day guys are competing and in the gym extra. This team is different than the last teams I’ve had here.”

Well it's certainly fun to read between the lines of that quote. I have high hopes for Brannen's Bearcats, version 2.0.

Maybe they were all tired a brand of slow paced slog it out basketball. Maybe the pace has finally injected some fun.

Wasn’t it against Houston?

RE: AAC basketball preview
A labrum issue for a basketball player is debilitating. Anything you try to do over your head is a struggle not to mention you lose a lot of strength and control as a general rule of thumb. For a kid who plays inside it definitely neutralizes a lot of what he brings to the table. Not an injury that a few days off will make better.

Thought it was UConn. I can't remember the team either but I do remember it happening. Clear as day hook and hold that didn't get called

I think if i were Williams and Vogt in particular i'd take this Cbs Bearcat write up as an insult. Hey, it's only preseason.

This guy really overextended himself when writing our synopsis.
