I have watched a bunch of Rutgers games this off-season. Their home court (the RAC) is one of the toughest home venues in the country; the Scarlet Knights were 18-1 at home last season. It seats 8000 and looks just like an old-style gym with bleachers, except that the bleachers go up and up and up, creating a gigantic "V" that must funnel the sound right down onto the court. Opened in 1977. It is one of those places where I would love to watch a game, but never will get to.
