The usual coach speak. Evey one talking it hard, as they should and use the loss as a learning tool. There are some plays that he wish he could do over. As as a listener, you can take your pick
Got calls from coaching friends reminding him that there were two good teams going head to head, so there's no reason to hang his head down. I didn't hear him mention the kick off return with 34 ticks left in the first half after the UAB touchdown. Yada

Why would he mention that? Did Clark miss a tackle and I didn't see it?

Because he is the head coach and the buck stops with him for the questionable decisions, penalties, trend of bad qb play, etc etc

You just score a touchdown with 34 seconds left in the half against a team playing you head to head with a guy who has already had several returns for touchdowns this year. With 34 seconds left before half time why would you give him the remote opportunity or possibility to score? Which he did.
He returned it 102 yards for a touchdown and momentum swing going into half time. That's way! Why not a squib kick or kick out of bounds that would have minimized the chances.
No, this may not have been the game changer but it didn't help when you lose by 4 points, 24-20 instead of winning by 3, 20-17

It was an absolute game changer. We should’ve went into the half with a soul crushing drive that left them wondering how they were going to score again. Instead we were up 3, and the momentum had shifted in their favor. We never got far enough ahead to force them to throw the rest of the way, and therefore still had to respect the run and pass for the remainder of the game.

Yep. It was a huge mistake. He should absolutely have to answer questions about it..
Clark is great, but he is not infallible.

He did discuss it. He discussed it in the post game. Said it was on him. He should have squibbed it.
On the Coach’s show he said that there were at two block in the blacks that were not called.

Definitely thought the one was. They replayed it on tv and it sure looked like the hit was shoulder to back and not shoulder to shoulder. That hit really opened the lane too.
