Can't measure it, but the Biden controversy is having an effect. Just my opinion of course.

I dont think the lead was ever as big as the majority of the polls were reflecting. That said, I agree that the laptop is having an impact.

Even Biden's campaign manager said it was never that big.

Your right---That's what he said---yet he's got his candidate in the basement for most of the final push. Even the limited times he intends to bust Biden out of the basement for a final week appearance---he's mostly heading for destinations where you would expect Trump to win....those are the kinds of actions a campaign might take if it believes it's locked in the glide path for an easy win. Right or wrong---I suspect the Biden campaign believe its closer than the polls---but they also believe their lead is still so big that the poll error wont matter. I think they are wrrong....again. If Im right--it will not just be poll error to blame. It will be another factor that will loom large---voter intensity. Thats a factor thats hard to accurately model and these rallies indicate that Trump has mountains of it.

RE: New York Times say what???
Dallas Morning News Poll was done before the last debate. That would be one to watch. Trump has to have Texas.

The Dallas Morning News/UT-Tyler Poll is a statewide random sample of 1,012 registered voters conducted between Oct. 13-20. The sample includes 268 registered voters surveyed over the phone by the Center for Opinion Research with support from ReconMR and 744 registered voters randomly selected from Dynata’s panel of respondents.

People thinking Texas is in jeopardy of turning blue in 2020 dont live here. It was already going to be a red landslide here---and that was before Bidens oil gaffe. Texas will be one thats called early on election night.

The guy who runs Trafalgar Group was on Hanity last week and when asked about Texas he said that people who think its in play probably need to go to rehab. 03-lmfao

I expect you are right.
The oil gaffe happened on 10/22 so it should be reflected in their next poll.

Link?

Most recent AJC poll I can find has Biden +1 in Georgia (47-46). Poll was taken over a 10-day span (Wednesday/14th through Friday/23rd) which marks it as unreliable right off the bat.

Trump will not lose Texas. I see Trump stuff everywhere. Outside of the big cities, Trump support is very visible. Flags in the back of trucks. Signs in yards. Kids wearing Trump covid masks. Flags in yards. Bumper stickers. Trump t-shirts. And homemade billboards line many major rural highways throughout the state. Texas is still very much a Red state.

Isn't Kamala going there?

Hillary went there and Georgia and didn't campaign in Wisconsin and barely in Michigan.

I'm still convinced when it comes to pollsters, Trump has the best people and the Democrats have idiots.

AJC polls always run left of reality.

Yup. Thats why I said that the Biden campaign's actions are essentially indicating to me that they believe the polls that say they are up big.

Yes. But he will have to shoot someone in the middle of 5th avenue in the next week to lose Georgia.

Its not going to be 20 points, but it will be comfortable. Same with Texas.

Trafalgar is basically the only one that predicted Trump in 2016. He does things a little differently from the polls.
