RE: Memphis Tigers Game
Surprised Western Ky and BYU game pulled as many viewers. I guess the 10:15 PM slot helped since no other game had such a late start.

And it’s only 8:15 or even 7:15 in the Mountain West and Pacific Coast.
That being said we really need to get more support locally and across the state. Cincinnati was one of the top 4 markets that watched the OSU game.

Bolded. Yes. We as fans can help with this--giving a good report on UC; wearing the brand, flying the flags, etc. But we can't do it alone.
2020 offers a unique opportunity to showcase Bearcat football. I'm sure we would be told it's a "money thing" right now but Athletics has to get creative and leverage those corporate relationships, not only with UA, but retail in 5th/3rd, Kroger, Montgomery Inn, Skyline, etc., for pop-up store displays, game day store discounts, promotions and "Bearcat Specials". Much work remains to paint this town red and black.
One would think Bearcat clothing should be a hot item this season especially, but both UC Bookstore and Dubois traffic have to be 80% off the norm and those are two major sellers. Passing through Dick's Sporting Goods last week, I'd say they have more UC gear than ever before. Our brand is growing, but not fast enough. Unless you're Alabama, seasons like this don't come around all the time; strike while the iron is hot.

I purchased a new Bearcat hat last week, so you can count at least one person as increasing their UC gear purchases.

Ditto.. just bought two shirts from Fanatics. BTW they're running some decent sales right now on Under Armour t-shirts. "Paint the town red and black" ..I like that. UC doesn't even have to pay to use it.

Looking at that awesome picture I'm trying to figure out what type of play it would have been on? I ask because it looks like Jerome Ford is there on the bottom right but he's the only one I can positively make out.. possibly Vann on the bottom left making out the "VA" on the back nameplate. would this have been on punt coverage?
Likely on coverage...and I am guessing that is Van Fossen, you can see there is more text on his jersey, plus the arm looks pretty white.
I knew exactly what play it was when I saw the picture a few days ago, but my memory of the details has faded. UC was on defense, perhaps in Q3 and the tackle was made out in the flat on the right side of Memphis' line of scrimmage on the bottom half of your tv screen. I think it was a screen pass, but it may have been an outside run and it went for a loss or maybe a very short gain. TV didn't show the angle that the pic was taken from. My most vivid memory of it was the Bearcat jumping on top of the pile and chuckling to myself that his move was a bit of overkill but also 100% awesome. Announcers didn't make a big deal of it.

Was only 7 players. WTF were the other four?

Don't listen to Fickell - he obviously doesn't know what he's doing.
