I think this team blows the 09 team out of the water.

Super interesting commentary about the selection committee. ESPN guides so much of the conversation around who is part of the cabal and who is not, and I'm certain they ask their announcers to tow the line. I'm intrigued by how much they're questioning other teams being above UC.

Remember when people were freaking out because the defense didn't stop Austin Peay every time.

Brendel tweeted he was standing on the sideline with his arm in a sling.

The '09 offense w/ Kelly calling plays vs. this years Dee under Freeman would be one hell of a game to watch.

On the other side, it would be interesting for completely different reasons 03-lmfao

I'm not there yet, but they are destroying good teams like the 2009 team did. The defense is worlds better.

Crazy stat from the game:

The D gave up 3 total rushing yards today! 3!

Very satisfying in all phases. D was dominant. Can't help. But feel a bit sad I couldn't be there in person today on a glorious fall Saturday.

RE: Memphis Tigers Game
These games are us definitely passing the eye test. Maybe we get picked above a 1 loss team with this type of showing

Ridder
21/26 271 3 TD 1 INT

10 rush 41 TD 2 TD

I believe he had at least one receiver that dropped a catchable ball - TE Taylor?

Freaking out? No. I do remember people thinking that the defense should be dominant and felt that they were a little disappointed. If anything the games since then have proven them right that the expectation should be of a dominant unit, which we have seen since.

Taylor definitely had a drop on the first TD drive. Think it was the only incompletion on that drive as I remember commenting on it.
