SJSU 17, Air Force 6

Good football at SJSU would be a great boost for MWC. Hopefully for SJSU, this is not a one and done event. One way to improve a conference is adding strong programs....but that avenue is limited and iffy. Another avenue for conference improvement is simply existing teams to improve. A negative for SJSU has been weak Administration support.

I remember when undefeated TCU and Coach Dennis Franchione came to San Jose and were knocked off. But SJSU was not able to build upon that. The SJSU stadium was rocking and rolling in that game. There were so many SJSU fans in attendance that the ticket booths closed knowing they could not keep up and the SJSU fans would miss a good portion of the game waiting to buy a ticket.

Yes, Air Force crushed Navy and even though Navy is bad this year, it was a surprise to see SJSU handle AF that way.

With Air Force coming off a top-25 season and crushing Navy 40-7, AFA -7.5 seemed like one of the easiest moneymakers.
