Vanderbilt is a Power 5 football program? They couldn’t beat good FCS teams, let alone decent “Group of 6” teams. I’m glad the young woman got a chance to play, but it hardly seems like she’s really breaking much new ground. April Goss kicked an extra point in 2015 and she wasn’t even the first D1 female kicker to score., a U of New Mexico woman was first in 2003.

It’s not just you. The other day they were making a big deal over someone who was the second women ever to do something. Its not just women. Someone was being praised for being the first South Asian. Asian wasn’t enough. One day we will reach the point where nobody notices these things but I’m afraid we are a long way away. I wish someone would notice I’m the first person of Italian-Greek heritage to root for the Montreal Canadiens. My voting bloc isn’t large enough though.

I’m the first person of Italian-Greek background that lives in Hudson to root for the Montreal Canadiens but my voting bloc isn’t large enough so nobody notices.
It is the living in Hudson part

I live in the poor part of Hudson in a Ryan Home. There are 5 sites within a mile of my house where they can have strip clubs. Only 6 sites in all of Hudson. That’s where they keep the Italians.

RE: 2020 Kent State Football Season
It seems like our short football season will be coming to an end. This week's game is canceled and I don't see how they will get many more D-1 games in after this weekend. Last week was rough enough with cancellations in college football.

To have a four game season with a team as much fun to watch as the ‘20 Flashes are is just sad.

Maybe they can turn back around and play a few spring games. FCS schools are definitely playing, and maybe a few FBS schools that got shorted would be willing to schedule as well.

I thought about that the other day too. Sure looks like the MAC and the Big10 would've been better off sticking to their original plan.

Maybe but it looks like the Conferences that started on time when things were more under control did much better. Who’s to say what it will look like in February/March. Indecision usually doesn’t help.

It seemed like everyone always knew it would get worse in colder weather. So it made sense for two cold weather conferences to delay until the spring. Looked smarter too now that we know vaccines are very close. What never made sense to me was for cold weather conferences to not play in the early fall when it was warmer then decide to start in November. That was probably the worst possible plan.

Woody Barrett has entered the transfer portal.

That one felt more emotional for me because he helped get #FlashFAST football going.

Best to him!

I honestly thought he was gone after last season and he really should have. He went from starting to being #3 and when you’re backing up a kid a few years younger is not a good spot to be in.

I'm at the browns titans game and they just showed a twenty minute interview of the female kicker from Vanderbilt. It was very cringy.

With only five games (all in-conference), I'll be surprised and happy if they get in a bowl.

Kent State transfer portal filling up quickly.

5th player by my count since the Buffalo loss.

This time it was OL Mike McNicholas.

Coaching Staff has shown an ability to upgrade players (or coaches) that leave IMO
