Almost Husky Help Rutgers Snap Big 10 Losing streak
Conner Neville appears to be an upgrade at backup QB for NIU, but Noah Vedral, who was committed to transferring to NIU for about 5 minutes, looked really legit today leading Rutgers to a win over Michigan State.

I think it says a lot about Hammock and the NIU coaching staff that they were able to identify this guy, go out and pretty much get him before Rutgers swooped in with the offer to start for a Big 10 team, and then turn around and go to plan B a land a guy like Neville. Talk about putting serious work to go out and improve weak areas of the team. Plus the fact that they are getting guys like these to even consider coming to NIU...If they can be as good at developing talent as they are at getting it on campus, we could really be in for fun future that seemed like it was gone forever just 2 years ago.

100% agree. The amount of players he has brought to campus is stunning . He has recruited some good speed, found walk-ons that can deliver,. So far he shown me more NFL scouting talent than coaching, but still very early in the coaching area to judge.

Growing pains. He's gonna get better at all he does coaching wise. This staff is gonna gel better too.
