Army - Navy game moved to West Point
Because of attendance restrictions in Pennsylvania that would have prevented Middies and Cadets from attending.

I assume the reason it is being played at West Point is that Michie Stadium, unlike Navy-MC Stadium, is on federal land, and thus not subject to liberal state government virus restrictions?

First time since 1943 that the game will be played at Army.

This is historic. Wonder how many people they'll let in.

Cadets, middies, and not much else would be my guess. Perhaps active and former service folks.

Yep, that's pretty much going to be it. Sad, but better than them not attending.

also, outdoors in December at elevation in the Hudson Highlands? Just hand me a portable tv and shove me in a meat locker for 3 hours, cheaper and delivers the same effect!

I would LOVE to be able to go to this game in that setting.

Ditto. Wish they did this every so often, though tickets would be impossible to come by I'm sure.

Yes, tickets would probably be $500 or so on Stubhub and the like.

"Fans probably won't be allowed at Michie Stadium beyond the Corps of Cadets and Brigade of Midshipmen, according to a news release."

That will probably make the game that much more special.
I'll be watching.

For a REGULAR A-N game, secondary market sites have $500 asking price for lower bowl, corner/endzone, 30 rows up. $300 for nosebleeds.

Would you be better off buying a cheap season ticket and getting Army/Navy through the school?

Would you be better off buying a cheap season ticket and getting Army/Navy through the school?

So...A-N ticket priority is by BlueN*Gold donation level more than season tickets. Within a donation level, season ticket holders have the advantage over non-. But I think there are a lot of donors who are only going to one game, and they donate high enough to get priority, Club-level seats, and numbers of tickets. So season-ticket holder without donating is looking up at a lot of people. In fact, regular season-ticket holders who aren't trying to get to A-N...say the average Annapolitan who just likes tailgating and flyovers...have to be a minimum level donor (which is only $50) just to get a season parking pass.
Can a regular-old-season ticket holder get A-N tickets. Probably - they list priorities below those, and while we sell out our half and nothing goes public (til secondary markets) those lower priorities get some too, I guess. But you are now up where you have to duck during the flyover

At that point a $220 season ticket and a $125 A-N ticket to be in the nosebleeds, you might want to take your chances on the StubHub. I suppose SRO on the grass hill adult season tickets are $150, so now UNDER $300. I don't THINK that NAAA would exclude your SRO season tickets from A-N eligibility...but I would recommend you ask...
