Basketball schedule changes
Because I keep seeing it asked. Apparently this got approved last night

1. Divisional Play Only
2. 2 game weekend series against each opponent
3. 4 AState/LR games this season. (Can you let us win one this year?)
4. Games will be played Friday/Saturday at the same site. So as an example, ULM would travel to Little Rock and play you guys on both Friday and Saturday, and then you would return the trip and play them on a Friday/Saturday in Monroe later in the season.
5. Attendance up to schools and Health Department
6. No overall conference champion will be declared, only Divisional Champions
7. All 12 teams will make conference tournament.

Schools have a couple weeks to make any necessary OOC changes and work on venue availability to fit with the new schedule before everything is released.

8. As always, everything is subject to change.

Wonder what the divisions will be. Same as before?

If #6 is true, who gets the NIT berth (assuming it is held this season)?

Conferences have always been free to declare their NIT rep however they so choose. Nothing has changed in that regard

It will likely be the Divisional Champ who advances the farthest in the conference tourney

Divisional play makes more sense this season; look at volleyball.
