Take a picture of your Basketball Schedule
Because the SBC took it, ripped it up into a thousand tiny pieces. stomped on them, and then lit it on fire.

Changes:

Instead of a Conference Bubble, you have a Divisional bubble. The Arkansas/Louisiana/Texas schools will play in their bubble. The Carolina/Georgia/Alabama schools will play in their bubble

There will be no crossover divisional games, so South Alabama will not play UL in the regular season. Texas State will not play Georgia State etc.

Teams will not travel to two different locations in the same week.

Format: Games will be played on Friday and Saturday's. Each team will play a 2 game series at one site against another divisional opponent. This means there will be changes to each nonconference schedule as well as some games may need to be axed or added to deal with the changes

All 12 teams will make the Conference Tournament in Pensacola with teams seeded by Division. There will be no overall champion declared, only divisional winners. The overall champion will be the Tournament champion.

Fans at games will be up to the schools and local health departments. Expect earlier tipoff times this year to get fans out at earlier times.

I’m looking forward to playing Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Troy, App State, and Coastal Carolina 4 times in the regular season and then possibly meeting them again in the conference tournament. You know what they say, it’s hard to beat a team 5 times in one season. 03-drunk

Is it though? Look how many football games have been postponed or cancelled. Limiting travel and exposure could help cut down on the number of lost games.

A good way limit exposure would be to not stupidly have everyone make the tournament.

And what happens if the tourney has to be cancelled? Then there's no logical RS champ because there's no cross-divisional games

If the Tourney is cancelled, than we have far bigger problems on our hands than worrying about who wins the Regular Season outright.

Between travel costs, and trying to avoid significant delays becaouse of outbreaks, the Chancellors thought this was the most practical solution for the year. I for one am looking forward to losing to Little Rock 4 times this year.

I think travel costs are just as big of a reason for this switch as possible outbreaks.

That is probably the correct answer. All schools are trying to find ways to cut costs right now.

March 5-8 Sun Belt Conference Championships (Pensacola, FL)

Everyone League wide will play their travel partner at the same time. One of those games will be a Saturday, the other will be a midweek game. We will continue with mirror scheduling this year, so Women will play away against the same opponent the Men have at home and vice versa. As usual, instate travel partner games are exempt from the Mirror scheduling rule and can play a Mens/Women's doubleheader on the same day.
