RE: Week 6 Ratings
There was nothing that was going to compete with UGA-Bama, so I'm not worried about it.

Keep pushing.

Friday night comparisons, Louisville-GT got 1.02 million viewers on ESPN at 7 ET the previous week. Our early/late games on ESPN...averaged essentially the same. La Tech-BYU on ESPN2 at 7:30 505k. Friday 18 Sep 7:30 ET on ESPN Campbell at Coastal Carolina 505k. AAC on par with ACC, double a G4.

RE: Week 6 Ratings
Whenever I see TV ratings what I basically see is the SEC/B10 rules the ranking, there is not much of a difference between the ACC, AAC and B12 (excluding Texas and Oklahoma).

RE: Week 6 Ratings
I started building my big spreadsheet from sportsmediawatch.com -- hoping to keep away from a big arduous task over the holidays.

To date, AAC conference-controlled games have had 12.271 million viewers. (2020 total was 28.612 million viewers)

That number to date is 30.1% of BigXII conference's viewers for conference-controlled games and 26.4% of ACC
In 2020 conference-controlled games, the AAC was 32.6% of BigXII and 46.6% of ACC

I've also gotten SunBelt and CUSA crunched to date, both benefiting from getting a lot more timeslots.
SunBelt 2020 is 51.9% of the AAC's viewers; in 2019 7.97% of AAC's viewers
CUSA 2020 has 21.7% of the AAC's viewers; in 2019 0.5% of AAC's viewers

First, ratings are down across the board. All sports, but specifically college football.
Second, I'd wait before closing the deal on this year vs the last couple. Our end of season games are typically big - CCG, our Black Friday games. With Cincinnati getting CFP buzz, their games against Houston, UCF, Tulsa will be big draws. SMU remains ranked, so their games against Tulsa and Houston could be big.

I meant in comparison to the conferences we're trying to close the gap with...the Clemson-ND game could outdraw our entire season up to this point.
