The depth chart for tonight's game lists Bradley as the #2.

Go Rockets!

Bradley was a RFr last season .
Finn is a RFr this year.

What little I saw he is the best deep thrower we have I can't hold last year against him with all that happened.

No sacks, No INTs. Still stuck on my original thought. Another 10 % on the completion rate given the short average yardage, would be nice. But as a trade-off, I'll take the no INTs.

Where did you find an updated depth chart? The website has the prior week still.

Thankfully, unlike our friends to the south, we don't have this problem....

14/50
233 yards
0 TDs
2 INTs
8 rushes
31 yards
3 fumbles

In two full games.

RE: Starting QB?
While we are on the QB depth chart thing, I didn't think Peters was all that accurate the last two games and feel his mobility very average. If in fact he is our number one QB I hope he never gets injured or we would be in terrible shape. With Peters we can win many games just not come from behind or need to stretch the field. I would think if he's starting Bradley or Finn aren't ready for prime time yet.

Peters completed 65% of his passes with several drops. Woodside's numbers were below that for 3 of his 4 seasons at UT. Woodside also benefitted from a top 10 receiving corp

I would interpret it as patience in the pocket. He did great holding his position, not getting ints.

We don't know yet whether he has or doesn't have a top ten receiving corps, so I don't know that I agree with Boca but they all haven't had that much time to practice.

Injuries to the line aside, I don't have the opinion It was the players or the coaching that took place before the game, that lost the game. WMU had good players and coaching too but ultimately, our coaching errors out weighed their player errors.

Would Logan Woodside have made Maddox, Mitchel and company a top 10 corps? Who knows... I'd assume no! but good everything is why Dionte and Cody got a shot at the next level. Par everything won't give our current dudes a shot. And hence why they aren't a top 10 group.

You can't have a top 10 group of wr's with bad or mediocre qb play. Our run game is good. Our o line is good. Qb is okay. Wide receivers? I don't even have a clue to be honest.

Boca I wasn’t sure I was watching the same QB that some guys are talking about here. My thoughts were Peters had been doing pretty good. Not great but pretty good. I think over all our guys have done much better than last year. Mistakes are definitely hurting us

Peters was great in the 1st half. The opening throw to Winstead was beautiful, and he read the open receivers well and made all the short-medium throws on time. In the 2nd half though, he missed several wide open receivers on critical downs, and his production dropped off drastically. That was frustrating because the WMU pass rush was a lot more subdued in the 2nd after they lost Fayed.

Woodside was throwing the ball downfield often and accurately. His career yards per attempt was at one point in the top 10 in NCAA history (haven't checked if it still is.) Peters' is not.

True that Woodside benefited from some great receivers, but it works the other way too. Those wide outs were great in part because Woodside was the QB throwing to them. I think Mitchell is a much better receiver than his stats show as gets open regularly deep downfield. I think his career might look a lot different catching balls from Woodside these past couple seasons.

Peters is a good QB, but comparing him to Woodside, especially just on completion percentage isn't a full story.

My top 10 reference was to Woodside's receiving corp. Phil Steele ranked that group in the nation's top
10.

RE: Starting QB?
Peters did a great job. Should have been a “W”. I will be very happy if he plays like that all year. He definitely had some drops. A couple balls were a little behind the receivers, but he was was big on big downs. Really important. He has developed well. He is stepping up or sideways based on what’s needed. His short passes have some touch, and the game seems to have slowed down for him. Toledo looked like the MAC’s best against a team with a veteran line and great skill players on offense.

RE: Starting QB?
We certainly didn’t lose the WMU game because of Peters. And while the offense ran hot & cold, we scored enough points that we should have been able to win. Special teams was generally a hot mess, the D was nonexistent for those last 2 Bronco drives, and in-game decisions by the coaching staff left plenty to be desired.
