RE: 11am kickoff for Cincy
We need every win, but that is the one that will put the access bowl in view. IF we beat Cincinnati, we can also take care of Houston, Navy. Other than maybe Tulane, we should be a double digit favourite in all our other games, including at home to Houston. Someone else will for sure take care of Tulsa and Navy anyway, but Cincy is the game we need.

Don’t overlook Tulane. The last time we went down there, we got our hats handed to us.

Too bad we can't tailgate. The 11 AM kickoffs call for breakfast on Tiger Lane with Bloody Marys and Mimosas.

Darn pandemic.

Bloody Caesars are superior, but Bloody Marys are fine also. When I was in the restaurant business we would give free shots to the first table that ordered liquor at brunch. Happy times.

They gave us the menu in advance for the Stadium Club for the first time.

- Sausage Biscuits
- Fruit Cup
- Banana & Blueberry Muffins
- Coffee
- Cajun Turkey Sandwich
- Wings & Dip
- House Chips
- Cookies

I was talking to someone (I’m terrible with names) on the athletic department staff during the first game, and they think the “party deck” is going to stick around for next year. They told me to make sure to let people know that might be interested in picking up tickets in the future.

Thanks for the heads up.

They said it was. The Shelby County Health department has also threatened to shut the whole thing down if they think people aren’t complying.

Yes. Parking lots are being patrolled. You either have to stay in your vehicle or go into the stadium.

Quote:“There was a football game over the weekend where fans had to leave because they were not masking,” Haushalter said. “So we actually have to rely heavily on leaders, management, and the organizers to do enforcement within those particular venues.”

The health department stressed there will be strict enforcement with regulations being relaxed.

Along with responding to complaints, several enforcement teams do proactive checks of businesses on weekends and restaurant inspectors are keeping an eye out for compliance during their routine health inspections.

Quote:“Those who elect to be non-compliant to the health directive we will close those facilities and they will remain closed for approximately a two week period or until such time that they have a place approved by the health department,” Haushalter said.

Walked into a store in Oakland,TN last night. None of the employees had on masks. We asked if we had to wear them, and the girl said "no, this is Fayette County". Sanity does still have a place in America.

That sounds entirely on-brand.

Bloody Caesars are superior, but Bloody Marys are fine also. When I was in the restaurant business we would give free shots to the first table that ordered liquor at brunch. Happy times.

Never heard of a Bloody Caesar before so I looked it up. I have been using Clamato juice for bloody's forever. I'll have to try the cucumber next time (already have lime & celery worcestershire etc.) and I guess I got it. Anything else I'm missing? Secret tips?

I use clamato juice as well. Doesn't have all that extra tomato droppings in it.

You're doing it the right way. A Bloody Mary has tomato juice, so you have been drinking Caesars the whole time and doing it the right way. A very nice alternative is to use Montreal Steak Spice to rim the glass and line it with shrimp.

I've had one with Heinz 57 in it but I prefer horseradish. I like the shrimp idea.
