Didn’t know he was OC + QB coach at Georgia now. Big test tonight @Bama.

(He was HC at Southern Miss 2013-14-15. Helped them recover from the eLLLis Johnson era)

What's not being discussed is the Saban miracle recovery and the no need for quarantine. Alabama money > than public health.

Did Saban actually have Covid or was it a false positive?

Media hasn’t said, and (probably) nobody knows.

It was a false positive from what I am being told. That being said, Georgia got their hind ends whooped that second half. Monken's offense didn't score a point in the last two quarters.

And most Southern Miss fans would take him back in a heartbeat. I am one of those that would happily.

I have a long conversation about this with Stinkfist a few weeks ago. I think he was the right guy at USM, even more so than Fedora.

I agree. I think Monken is a better overall coach. Fedora was at Southern Miss at the right time. If Monken gets a QB at UGA like they have had the past several seasons, UGA will have a great chance to play for a National Title.

I doubt Monken is coming back. The guy that USM needs to go after is John Grass at Jacksonville State. He took over for Bill Clark and is 58-18, has 4 10+ winning seasons. And just look at what Clark has done for UAB.

I don't think Monken is coming back to H'burg either. But he is a really good coach.
