GS/Mass game
Poor UMass. I really hate to see anyone as a program struggle.

I've been watching this game. UMASS looks like hot garbage. Pour it on Eagles. Rooting for all SBC mates to dominate today.

Now THATs how you dominate a team.

RE: GS/Mass game
41-0 GS wins. We backed off and took all starters out for whole 4th quarter. Thanks to UMass for stepping in on very short notice to make this game happen

GS/Mass game
At some point I have to believe that support wise these best downs are not good for their program. Hard to call tomorrow as a fundraiser after alumni witnessing Saturday

For the first time in a while.. Chad coached a team to do what they are suppose to do. Its been since USA 2017 that he has been able to do something like this.

Yep, it’s been a total failure, worse than Idaho

GS/Mass game
Like I said , I hate for ANY program to struggle, much less fail. But they have had zero winning seasons since they made the move. They also seem to to spend only in spackle and patching the program. Would love to be wrong but maybe the CAA is a better fit.

The CAA makes sense, but right now not sure they can compete at the FCS level.

GS/Mass game
It's really bad and they don't seem to have a plan. Their stadium and football operations need work and they still be to invest in a JC and salary pool as well as recruiting budget.

I'm just glad that we were able to get this game on the block with a week notice. Definitely an impressive feat by AD Benko. It was a total success.

Dang UMASS probably would not be a good FCS team at this point. I dont expect them to remain FBS much longer.
Oh well that's a them problem, good to see us finally dominate a game from start to finish no matter who was on the other side and get another OOC win for the conference.

RE: GS/Mass game
Shai has proven that we can open up the passing game and be effective. There is no reason to pass the ball less than 15 times a game, unless we are rushing for 10+ypc every play.

I am not taking anything from the UMASS game other than we won. The CCU game will tell us if we have progressed since UL.

Shai was 11 for 18 against UL for 255 yards passing. I think the problem in so many games is all we call are deep, 50/50 balls, and he's never really allowed to get into a rhythm. Obviously, UMASS is terrible, but we can still scheme for passing plays that are high percentage throws, that will help ease the defense off our run game at least a little.

Also, practice makes perfect and there’s no better practice than live in game passing experience.

yup, which is why I feel like we came out passing much more against UMASS than probably any other game under CBD.
That kind of game plan that we have to be able to execute every day, and we are in the right recruiting area to get those types of QB's and WR's.
