Their biggest issue this year is that they basically neutered their experienced 0-line and speed back by running almost exclusively RPO and read option stuff. The line can’t fire off because they can’t let themselves get downfield and their RB’s a speed back who now has to slow down and wait for the QB to read. It’s just the opposite of what they were doing last year.

Defensively, their only issues are playing against very good offenses so far this year and being on the field way to long because their O can’t sustain drives.

I think it’s going to be a very close game.

the line is 14 ....they need to have more people to pick us as winner especially on an alabama newspaper

UAB could and should beat WKU and the spread but we gotta cut down on turnovers and penalties.

NCAA Least # of Penalties per game:

UAB: Tied with NC State at #62

WKU: #1

No turnovers and minimal penalties UAB wins three + scores. Turn it over three times and hit above or average penalties and we go to the wire.

As one of my former bosses used to say: “I will take a one point victory”.
