If they win out that's probably what's going to happen. Idk if they survive boise/sdsu tho

They'll have played 7 games when they meet Boise. It'll be Boise's third game. They're going to slaughter them.

this team had every right to win this game and every opportunity to do so. BYU was good no doubt but nothing crazy, but UH as a team outside of offense and run defense was just pathetic. In every way. They did not take advantage of the 5 weeks of games being cancelled and I think that the way dana coaches is on the field because he’s a drunk and why not just wing it so he’s had no real chance to improve these guys.

This was a train wreck and we deserved to lose

GG BYU. Their coaching staff and game plan was impeccable. We just lost to a bunch of unrecruited missionaries

What advantage? It was a disadvantage to have the cancelled games. BYU is in midseason form. This was only our 2nd game. This was never going to be a good look. We had a shot to win it (actually several shots) and it sucks that we blew it but this isn't a fire the coach performance. BYU is probably the toughest team will see. Just have to try and win conference.

This was houston's second game and I thought it was really competitive. If you take out the completely idiotic self inflicted harm houston did (shanked punt, onside kick, unsportsmanlike conduct) the outcome may have been different. I'm not trying to discredit byu because I think they are a good team, but houston really killed themselves..

Good thing BYU's 6'-4" 325 NT Tonga didn't make the trip. That 43-26 final score would have been much more lopsided with that beast in the game.

That halo zone infraction was brutal. The return man muffed that one. Completely swung momentum.

Get the **** outta here Po-boy. Your life and school sucking is not our problem. Corona Virus from "China" is not our problem either. Houston just played their second game of the season to BYU's fifth game. OK they won. They're a good team sort of. They looked like hot garbage for two quarters. Houston couldn't close them out. Congrats to the 30 year old Mormons.

I know it was a disadvantage but if you have 5 weeks of practice to get things right even if you’re on game two in October you shouldn’t look like game two in August.

Who fair catches a punt from the 1 yard line?

Great game on Friday night. Tune, Porter and that Dline played well. The Blue Cougars are fortunate to leave Houston with the W.

Once again, another exciting and competitive BYU v. AAC matchup. I think that puts BYU at 7-4 versus the current AAC since independence (not including UConn series). Other than the BYU-UConn series and the Navy headscratcher to kickoff the 2020 season, I can't remember a BYU v. AAC matchup that wasn't exciting and competitive.

I also heard that BYU fans made a good showing in TDECU Stadium. First game for BYU with fans in the stands. Thankfully, I finally get to see BYU in live action when they host Texas State this weekend.
