Also, maybe we should throw Liberty in the poll to be ACC’s #16?

Kind of like how VT was down 35-14 at halftime vs. UNC last week but came back to 42-37 at the start of the 4th quarter but still lost any way?

No, because UNC was expected to beat the Gobblers.

Well, Duke did your dirty work for Saturday. Leary's out 2 months with a broken fibula. That mean's no passing game. Maybe y'all will come down with the Covid after that crowd in Florida and we can push the game into December.

That sucks. Y'all are day and night better with him in the lineup. At least y'all got ranked this week.

I think we could have beaten you in Blackburg had Leary started but we never ride well in a bus and didn't seem prepared. While not as high as Boone, Blacksburg is a slight adjustment for flatlanders but who knows. Carolina was over rated - they almost always are in football. This year Carolina is unique, having offense but no defense. Usually they lack the top QB to be relevant and have the defense. If State gives up an early score, Carolina is a lock this year with Leary out.

Well, I learned two things this weekend:

That trying to score before halftime when you are up big is "running up the score". Were we supposed to start kneeling on the ball in the second quarter?

and

That when you are up big and are playing all of your reserves, including your 4th string walk-on true freshman QB and 6th string true freshman RB that if you go for it on 4th down in FG range against your opponents primarily 1st string, or "ATL", defense instead of kicking a FG that it's considered poor sportsmanship.

Unexpected complaints from fans of the school that once won a game 222-0.

You cheat John Heisman in baseball by playing pros against him you get what you deserve.

Clemson wasn't running it up as much as GT was letting go of the rope.

Oh, and the 4th string true freshman walk-on QB? He's now the third string true freshman walk-on QB behind a second string true freshman QB with a sore shoulder.

https://www.tigernet.com/update/Swinney-...atus-36553

Quote:Clemson third-string quarterback Taisun Phommachanh had surgery on his left hand after an injury suffered in Saturday's 73-7 win at Georgia Tech.
Phommachanh is "day-to-day" after screws were inserted into his left hand, and at any other position he would be good to go, said Clemson coach Dabo Swinney Sunday.

Swinney hopes he can return to action "soon."

The redshirt freshman has five completions in 17 pass attempts on the year with one interception and 25 rushing yards. He played mostly in Atlanta after Trevor Lawrence exited due to backup DJ Uiagalelei resting for a shoulder issue.

Cat, can you send over the 3rd string QB this weekend to act as your scout QB? He would probably score more for us than our QBs. Ofcourse we'll put a green jersey on him so you won't hurt him.
