while it would be funny, do you think it would turn or cement the election?

I'd do it just to circumvent the organized and methodical sterilization of news and political commentary by media and tech platforms 19 days before the election....on some of the very channels that will not report on this.

That is a message that needs to get out regardless of who people will vote for.

I suspect the Biden campaign already has the questions and ABC will allow Slo a "call a friend" lifeline or two.

Meanwhile, on NBC, Trump will be surrounded by hostiles, fighting like Uma Thurman in Kill Bill.

That brings up a good point - could this all be a setup? We saw how the questions went at the debate, why would we expect this would be any different....

ol' boy loves the challenge....

think about it for a sec.....he's been around this bs his entire life....

Who knew that NBC wanted to capitalize and make money from advertisers during their commercial breaks!

That evil, evil corporation! (Okay, so they're still evil, but they're not stupid!)

So let me get this straight...

Biden is "leading" in all the polls...
But when Trump and he have a town hall on the same night and time, it's unfair?

One will be a funeral wake with rehearsed softball questions for an old geezer they are rooting for.

One will actually feel like a candidate is getting asked real questions with the requisite member of NOW saying she is an independent who is not sure who she is going to vote for when she asks her loaded question.

I may actually watch a little bit of these. I normally skip them.

I'm not sure that the ratings will be indicative of anything.

I will be a 2020 Trump voter. But I have no interest in watching him in a Townhall setting. If anything, it will just depress me.

I do, on the other hand, still have some lingering curiosity on whether Joe Biden can make it through an extended question/answer session - - even if the questions are all pre-rehearsed softballs. That was never put to the test during the first debate, thanks to to the president's inability to keep his diarrhetic mouth shut.

Here were his statements at a rally today in NC while Sloe was napping.03-lmfao

Quote: You know, I’m being set up tonight. I’m doing this town hall with “Con-cast,” Trump said, using his favorite nickname for Comcast — the parent company of NBC.

Trump spoke about the upcoming town hall during a campaign rally in North Carolina, just hours before the town hall was scheduled to take place in Miami, Florida.

“I’m doing it, and it’s NBC. The worst,” Trump continued. “Home of ‘Sleepy Eyes’ Chuck Todd and some others.”

Trump recalled that NBC did a town hall with former Vice President Joe Biden earlier in October that was ridiculously easy.

“They gave Joe Biden, a week ago, a town hall, and it was meant for children,” Trump said. “They asked him questions that a child could answer, any child. A smart child, not such a smart child … it was a joke.”

Trump said that when NBC representatives reached out to him for a town hall with NBC host Savannah Guthrie, he agreed.

“I figured what the hell, we get a free hour of television,” Trump said, and added wryly, “And we have Savannah Guthrie, she’s always lovely, isn’t she?”

RE: Dueling Town Halls
I already voted...in person. I couldn't care less about this fake debate. My sister in law (the nutty one) yesterday was trying to convince my wife to vote for O'Bite'em and my wife never bothered to tell her that she already voted herself. LOL

My wife just wanted to see what SIL had to say. She's really, really a nut case and will not listen to reason even if I show her memes and videos. I showed her the CDC info about how many more get sick from the ChiFlu wearing a mask vs not wearing one. She didn't care. By the way, if you saw her without even asking her political leanings you would know she's a Demoncrap, as she looks like the typical ones.

I don't think DJT cares. He already faced that "undecided mob" with Steph...... Bring it

I agree that he doesn’t care, but as a Trump voter living in a swingy County of a swing state, that concerns me. I realize that getting on network television and not giving Biden a free pass is what needed to be done, but there is potentially a stacked deck against him that could swing some votes.

10 minutes in & nothing but 'why aren't you wearing a mask.'

'I do. People can. Even if you wear it, you can catch it. Kamala's people got it, VA governor got it. I'm not gonna hide in my basement. I got to be out going to events."

"Well why are your't wearing one?"

For those who were concerned we're not getting a debate, we are. It's just Trump vs a *****

Screw this

In Biden's they are reading from cards. Rigged. Joe just pulled notes from his pocket. Reading from them now. The asking the question is a so called Trump voter by George and Joe said, "I know". Rigged.
