Quote:The implication is that Joe Biden improperly used his position as vice president to benefit his son’s Ukrainian business interests. But as we learned when Giuliani and his allies pushed the story last year, that isn’t what happened. Biden did pressure the Ukrainian government to force the prosecutor in question, Viktor Shokin, to resign. But he did so because the U.S. government had determined that Shokin wasn’t doing enough to fight corruption in the country -- an assessment shared by American allies and the International Monetary Fund. And at the time Biden acted, the Ukrainian investigation into Burisma Holdings, the company Hunter Biden was linked to, had reportedly been moribund for a year.
But the story is even thinner than that -- the email the Post cites does not actually show that Hunter Biden “introduced” Joe Biden to the Burisma executive. In the email, Vadym Pozharskyi, described by the Post as “an adviser to the board of Burisma,” thanks Hunter Biden for “giving an opportunity to meet your father.” If the email is genuine, that comment “may just as easily have meant Hunter promised a meeting in the future that may never have occurred,” and the Post does not appear to have produced any other reporting indicating such a meeting took place.
The bizarre provenance of the emails cited in the Post article should also give journalists pause -- it involves the unnamed “shop owner” of a Delaware computer repair store who claims that someone brought a “water-damaged MacBook Pro” into the shop in April 2019, never came to pick it up, and ignored all entreaties to come get it. (It is unclear from the article whether the Post spoke directly to the “shop owner” or learned this secondhand from, say, Giuliani.).
The “shop owner” supposedly “couldn’t positively identify the customer as Hunter Biden” but the story also includes what appears to be a photo of a receipt for the work made out to Hunter Biden. The “shop owner” claims to have reviewed the laptop’s contents, copied them (possibly illegally), alerted the FBI and gave them the laptop, and provided the copy to a Giuliani associate.
lol....so desperate. The computer has emails FROM Hunter Biden to the VP of the United States.....and they get answered by the then Vice President of the United States. So yeah---I think we can safely say its Hunter Biden's computer. Hell---the Biden campaign isnt even denying its Hunters computer or that the emails are false. The only Biden Campaign response so far is basically "do all you can to keep this from spreading". By the way---that responding email is on an easily obtained US government server. Thus, the fact its was unknown until now shows this matter has NEVER been investigated in any meaningful way as that would be first level low hanging fruit in any actual investigation.

Come on man that’s desperation posting a rebuttal from a source that bias.
Dude, your source is the Murdoch owned post via Giuliani and Bannon, likely based on Russian propaganda.
Look in the mirror.
But you can clear it up by presenting what the story got wrong. Maybe with the name of the shop owner, the actual shop name, some corroboration from the FBI, evidence of an actual meeting between Joe and the Burisma guy......
Otherwise, you got the same thing you've always had. Hunter suffers from substance use disorder.
You’re seriously going to complain about “anonymous sources” after the **** you have posted here citing nothing but “anonymous sources”. Have you forgotten the Atlantic pieces already?
You’ll find out who the source is when it goes before the Senate.

I get the sense the old timer tech guys hated gov’t and suppression while the new timers (twitter, fb, etc. execs/founders) slobber over big government.
Both in general leaned left but the difference was the old timers wanted society to be controlled by the people and didn’t care so much about their say/control over the people.
Same political leanings but what a difference it has made in both business and society recently.

This isnt from anonymous sources that the left relies on.
And the name of the shop owner is????????
He's a whistleblower. Schiff says we cant reveal their names. But Ron Johnson has already been in touch, so they are not anonymous.
womp womp
Committee Chairman Ron Johnson, R-Wis., told Fox News on Wednesday that the committee has been in touch with the person who provided the emails and was in the process of validating the information.
The emails in question were obtained by The New York Post and revealed that Biden’s son introduced the former vice president to a top executive at Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma Holdings less than a year before he pressured government officials in Ukraine to fire prosecutor Viktor Shokin who was investigating the company.
"We regularly speak with individuals who email the committee’s whistleblower account to determine whether we can validate their claims," Johnson told Fox News. "Although we consider those communications to be confidential, because the individual in this instance spoke with the media about his contact with the committee, we can confirm receipt of his email complaint, have been in contact with the whistleblower, and are in the process of validating the information he provided.”

Hunter Biden
202-552-9396
i thought it was 867-5309
Totally off topic but---there is a halarious scene in the Newest "The Babysitter" (Netflix original) movie regarding that number. There are two in the series "The Babysitter" (2017) and "The Babbysitter: Killer Queen" (2020). Both are funny little under the radar flixs worth watching. Lots of 80's era jokes in them, including the 867-5309 gag (that shows up in the second movie).

But a story from The Atlantic with ananomous sources claiming the President called soldier suckers and losers, which was quickly debunked by people who were there is legit.
A story from the NYT that claims that Trump only paid $750 in taxes but won't release how it got that info is legit.
But this.. This seems fishy.
You talk about cults... You're in one.. Been in for as long as I've known you. You don't think Obama or anyone connected to him is crooked.
You're a Biden supporter.. I get why you don't admit it, I wouldn't admit it either.

Desperate? You're relying on Rudy Giuliani to defeat a supposedly demented 77 year old man.
And I guess you missed this response from the campaign...

Per your boyfriend Adam Schiff, "Whistleblowers need to be protected" or is it if they claim to have evidence against Donald Trump? I have a tough time with how you cults operate.
