Changing centers is a risky move, thankfully, crowd noise will be a non-factor.
I fully expect Tulsa to change their defense to shut down UC's run game - that's the formula, stop the run and force Ridder to beat you with the pass. That is what the UC offense will see the rest of the year, 6-8 man fronts, and they better learn how to beat them.
Defense will need to play lights out - this will be a big game for the dline, they can't let their QB sit back and pick us apart. Tulsa has a decent oline, best one UC will face so far.
Changing your system is not very easy, though they did have a bye so that could help. They probably will try to move someone up or something to help, but that also could lead to blown assignments, which could help our cause.

If Tulsa goes all in for defending the run, it would be exciting to see UC come out and pass on every down on the first possession, obviously, only if completing enough to hang an early score on them.
That might be what it takes to get some room to run and re-instill confidence in our QB that he can make those plays in game four.
Alternately, if UC begins with three yards and a cloud of dust, it may make for short possessions and a very long afternoon for Bearcat fans. If the 'Cats are going for lots of 4th down conversions it will be white knuckles viewing for three hours.

If you have 247, go to the SMU board and read the rumor about this game.

Sounds like the game is being postponed.

Officially postponed to Dec 5 now. This sucks. Also further illustrates how ludicrous it is to think the B10/P12 can get 8 games in with only 8 weeks.
