It would be years in the courts. What case does Williams have unless they end up denying his waiver? Is he going to sue for them taking too long?

Years in court... That was exactly my point. Williams has nothing to gain by following a lawsuit nor does any player really. By the time it is all said and done the player would no longer be in college...

The issue is Williams previous school being difficult.

Not sure of the issues there and why they don't want to amicably release him.

At least with Memphis we at least thought Virginia tampered with Austin.

He should be eligible fairly soon

Coaches who make millions can leave whenever but players can't? Why hasn't the NCAA stepped in to right the situation? Coaches league?

Coach said we are supposed to hear something before the game on Friday. Hopefully that pans out.
