TigerLane Parking Passes
Question:

I renewed my HH membership and renewed my spot in Tiger Lane. When all the C19 stuff went down, I guess I was more focused on whether I was going to be able to go to one or two football home games this year by going "all in" on my season tickets and did not pay attention to mailings, deliveries, or whether I had to pick up my Tiger Lane parking pass or not.

I got all of my season tickets emailed to me last week and then realized I have no parking passes. I sent a note to the HH website asking about it and they said T.A. had all the passes and gave me his email address but I have not been able to get in touch with him to arrange getting them.

Any advice from any HH higher ups? I am sure I missed something I needed to do and I'm sure the pres is busy. Just getting a little antsy with 5 days until kickoff. Thanks if anyone has advice or just PM me.

TigerLane Parking Passes
It was my understanding that Tiger Lane isn’t open, since there is no tailgating. However, the official page mentions that Tiger Lane passes are needed to park there. Your game ticket works as a general parking pass, in case you can’t get the HH pass in time.

PARKING

https://gotigersgo.com/feature/2020football

Quote:Tiger Lane, Gold Lot and Silver Lot are reserved lots and fans must have a pass for these lots. Striped, Pink, Red and Tan Lots are general admission.

Additional Details:
Fans will be asked to show their ticket to be allowed to park.
Please note that masks must be worn at all times, including parking lots.
No single-game parking passes will be sold and only fans with tickets to that specific game will have access to parking.
Tailgating will not be permitted.
Pipkin Building will not be open for pregame hospitality.
Pregame hospitality tents and interactive games will not be available.
Parking lots open two hours prior to kickoff.

My understanding is Tiger Lane is open for parking only. It requires the normal TL parking pass. Just like any other lot.
I picture Frau Haushalter, Comrade Calkins, and Jennifer Biggs patrolling it to make sure people park and head to the stadium. No lingering!

I have no idea about the "City" Tiger lane spots, but as the OP stated HH Tiger lane Passes were distributed at the Athletic Office prior to ASU. They gave me my passes for all the games. There was an article in the Daily Memphian about the drive-by distribution.

Hopefully the OP will hear back soon.

You're slow. I been "demonizing" Biggs for months.
Every since she went around reporting restaurants to the SCHD.

So it's fair that restaurants that play by the rules have to compete with those that ignore local ordinances?

Personally, I appreciate anyone who reports a service company that might be putting public health in jeopardy.

Agreed 100%

Restaurants in general are the worst

That is an impossibly on-brand statement for you.

THIS^^^

HH Treasurer David was kind enough to call me and give me the details for tonight.

As I suspected, I missed/ignored/was numb to the original parking pass pickup opportunity before the ASU game. I knew I missed something and it was my fault, I just wasn't focused on parking.

Yes, everything is still like it was in years past: you have to have a TL pass to park in TL, it's just.............well, all you can do is park, no tailgating. I just wanted to get my passes to my space now that it appears I can attend all of the games now.

Thanks to the responses on this post and I am really sorry I missed the first time around.

The same group (Biggs consulting with the SCHD) allowed Beale bars to remain open while all other "ltd service" places were closed. Is that fair?

If a restaurant was not requiring customers to keep their masks on until the food arrived at their 25% capacity, spaced 6 ft apart tables - is that REALLY putting public health in jeopardy?

If a restaurant was staying open until 10:30 instead of shuttering at 10pm - is that REALLY putting public health in jeopardy?

Is it the business of a local journalist to snitch on people and restaurants?

I do agree that you have to be careful in restaurants. If the tables are not spaced properly, there is a huge risk. If I don't like the looks of a place, I leave.
But the mask wearing for an additional 5 minutes of a 60 minute visit is optics only.
And I just don't need a reporter or anyone else watching me.

i get it, rules are made to be broken. i break alot of them myself, especially when they seem to have little impact to me or mine.

but perhaps, just maybe, your consternation would be better directed at the rules themselves, instead of people reporting them when they are broken.

I think I'm on the record for expressing consternation at the Ministry of Health's rules, lol.
I just like to lump Calkins and Biggs in there with them because they are so loud and proud about how well the SCHD is doing, and how they help them.
