RE: Game Time Speculation/Announcements
Game Times:

Penn State at Michigan, noon (ABC) - How'd that happen???
Ohio State at Illinois, noon (FS1)
Maryland at Indiana, noon (ESPN2)
Northwestern at Michigan State, 3:30pm (ESPN2)

BTN Required Games:
Indiana: 2
Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State

Dec. 5:
Required to go to BTN:
Ohio State at Michigan State (because of OSU, Dec. 12 game already assigned to FOX)
Maryland at Michigan (because of Michigan, Dec. 12 game already assigned to FOX)
Indiana at Wisconsin (because of Indiana)
In other words, the three most valuable games.

Dec. 12:
Required to go to BTN:
Purdue at Indiana (because of Indiana)

Iowa's remaining games: at Illinois, Wisconsin
Nebraska's remaining games: at Purdue, Minnesota
Penn State's remaining games: at Rutgers, Michigan State

RE: Game Time Speculation/Announcements
Ohio State at Illinois was dumped to FS1 while the Big Nooner on FOX is Texas Tech at Oklahoma State. It's the 2nd time since the Big Ten restarted that they were dumped to FS1 at noon while a Big 12 game took their slot. The last time it happened, the Big Ten on FS1 actually beat the Big 12 on FOX in the noon slot (and that was with pathetic Penn State and Nebraska!) To put the most popular team in the Big Ten and dump them on FS1 behind two irrelevant Big 12 teams is an insult to the Buckeyes.

I discussed this on the main CSNBBS board: https://csnbbs.com/thread-906834-post-17...d17111184. Since the Big Ten restarted, FOX aired just 4 Big Ten games on the FOX broadcast network while airing SEVEN Big 12 games and SIX Pathetic 12 games in the same span (and the Pac-12 started two weeks after we did!) The two Big Ten games are FOX's highest rated games between Oct. 24 and Nov. 14 and yet FOX still continues to treat us like 2nd class citizens.

I complained to both FOX College Football's and FOX Press Room's Twitter pages (FOX was bragging about Indiana-Ohio State's ratings yesterday!)
https://twitter.com/FOXSportsPR/status/1...4231279616

All we can do is keep watching Big Ten games until FOX gets the message. Maybe eventually FOX will move one of our games to the broadcast network. Or you can watch ABC... if you're willing to stand Penn State at Michigan!

RE: Game Time Speculation/Announcements
Today's Big Ten game announcements say the BTN game requirements are dead.

Ohio State at Michigan State will be at noon on ABC (https://msuspartans.com/news/2020/11/23/...adium.aspx)

Indiana at Wisconsin will be at 3:30pm on ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2 (https://www.si.com/college/indiana/footb...ball-dec-5)

Maryland at Michigan will be 3:30pm on BTN (https://mgoblue.com/sports/football/schedule)

No word on the other games (Matt's site says they will are on 6 day holds, Purdue at Nebraska will be on BTN).

A bit of each I suspect. Indiana is the real deal and Fields has been on such a roll that perhaps he thought that it would just continue so why not take a shot?

Northwestern at Michigan State promoted to ESPN due to Colorado-USC cancellation.

All times appear set
(11/30) Networks set:

Noon ET:
Ohio State at Michigan State (ABC)
Penn State at Rutgers (FS1)
Northwestern at Minnesota (BTN)
Nebraska at Purdue (BTN)

3:30pm ET:
Indiana at Wisconsin (ABC)
Iowa at Illinois (FS1)
Maryland at Michigan (BTN)

My alma maters (PSU and Illinois) are both on FS1 and for Illinois it's our "Homecoming" (well a "virtual" one). https://homecoming.illinois.edu/.

RE: Game Time Speculation/Announcements
Update: Michigan State at Penn State now noon on ABC.

https://gopsusports.com/news/2020/12/10/...-noon.aspx

Obviously Michigan-Ohio State and Purdue-Indiana are gone. Might not be the last change we'll see.
