Ive said it since HBU and it holds up after watching BYU and UTEP, defense was not our issue. It will continue to not be our issue. I think they will continue to improve.

I see a mid-level scoring game, in that neither team goes over 30. If a team does go over 30, only the winner does. And this may inlclude special teams or defensive score.

All comes down to our offensive line play and turnovers. Can we force one? Will we commit any? Im glad we took care of it this past week, even with putrid line play that could have certainly caused a QB to make a bad pass.

Holtz is so predictable in his play-calling. I know I could come up with a defensive scheme that would work against a Holtz offense. Yeah, I have the advantage of having to watch his Os for 8 years now, and DCs don't have the luxury of getting to know an opponent that well. In this case MU's defensive coaches are coming off scheming for WKU and now have to switch to Tech's offense. But, Holtz is so simple...

WKUs offensive schemes weren't that complex. It helps that their offense is completely anemic. Besides Pigrome they had 4 RBs run the ball for 57 yards on 17 attempts. Until their last 2 drives WKU had 128 yards of total offense.

Im sure our coaches have already broke down LA Tech and are implementing a game plan. And it isn't like they have to game plan for 2 QBs both Anthony a Allen play the same with Allen running a little more. Like the last 3 games our defense will try and stop the run game of Henderson and Tucker and make the QB win the game through the air.

Henderson has struggled this season in my opinion. He stubbornly doesn't adapt to what is given to him. We have fared much better with Tucker and even Garner. I am hopeful that proper game planning will allow us to put a few wrinkles in our play calling. We should have a complete OL this weekend as we lost both our tackles on the Friday before last weeks game. Skip readily admitted that he did not try and game plan around that because it was too late. I really don't know what to expect on Saturday.

He pretty much thrust two guys who were very unprepared into a postion last week and didnt have much planning around it. Gambled that it would work good enough to win, and luckily it did.

Aside from the special teams scare TD, Offense scored 21 and defense allowed 10.

Clearly LA Tech fans are humbled and apprehensive this week. None of us have any idea what to expect. Despite having a 3-1 overall record and 2 CUSA wins under our belt, this season has so far looked like something out of the Twilight Zone. I don't recall ever being this blind about our team's capabilities this deep into a season.

This is a fun matchup. Tech has the D to keep this close. The offensive issues are disconcerting. I can see this being a low scoring fourth quarter game. Any point totals in the 30s and I think Tech is in trouble. I can see this being a one-score game. Marshall 24. Tech 17

That's hardly a "Louisiana Tech" thing. Four conferences haven't even STARTED PLAYING FOOTBALL YET, much less this 'deep into the season'. We haven't had a close to full roster yet due to all of the "COVID safety" BS. One of our starting OTs had a cold last week and was erroneously diagnosed with COVID. All you can do is play who you are allowed to play.

Yes. Any symptom at all that is 'similar' to a COVID symptom and you are immediately out. Per the Monday coach's show.

All of the players have been on campus since May 15th and none have left, they were suppose to play in week 0 against ECU. The team has a few vocal leaders with Sheldon Evans at the front that reminds everyone that if they want to accomplish what they want then they need to do the right things to get there.

Its all about accountability to one another.

Um, I think every team is being 'accountable to one another'. It would be nice if test facilities were consistently accountable and reliable.
