The idea I suggested to MOB in an email was to set aside section 16 for Chuck Ealey. Drape a large tarp over the section with his mug on it. Dismissed because of cost. I do think that it would be nice for Chuck Ealey to occupy every seat 16 in the stadium that has a cut out on it. Or lets break out our Induct Chuck T Shirts and get our picks in those.

As for money making, at the price point that they are selling these ($40) they are likely barely above cost. I bought a life size cut out for my son when he graduated high school that was $75 if I recall.

Hey fans, lets talk about ways to make a cr@p situation a little better instead of comparing our selves to other conferences. Wishing we were something else is such a City of Toledo thing to do. The University of Toledo can be better.

Like the idea of an induct Chuck banner across from the cameras along the side line just above the visitors bench. Big enough to see when ever the camera cover the visitors! Cant believe that it would cost that much. Supporters would cover the cost I am guessing. Not to cover the entire section but enough to make the commentators have to acknowledge the sign and comment on it's message!

Ugh, that's not what you want to hear from your athletic director. Every other conference playing right now has fans, so I agree with you that it's a good idea to make our situation a little better. I really hope UT plans to do something to make our proud University stand out. Your Chuck Ealey idea is awesome.

I agree, awesome idea but I can see Ad's POV too. It would be a proud venture for alums to pay for with one of those raise funds websites but someone should ask Ealey first. Even then, someone should ask stadium as they'd have to place it and maintain it.
