RE: Lane Kiffin
I always liked Lane, still do. He's not afraid, and doesn't just rely on the safe coach speak PC thing, doesn't care how his opinion comes across.

Respect.

As for FAU in 2020 without the Lane Train TBD.

I always felt like his football aptitude far exceeded his maturity, and that he started off way too high on the job ladder. I haven't always liked him, but I'm beginning to change my tune. He has taken his lumps, gotten back up, and I believe in the near future could be a Spurrier type force in the SEC.

I used to not like Kiffin at all. But he seems to be maturing. I saw a couple of interviews of Kiffin yesterday, and he has mellowed a bit. I laughed when the interviewer asked him what his relationship is like now with Nick Saban, and he said "it's really like a divorce". He said Saban won't talk to him or answer his text messages, but he continues to send Saban text messages anyway. LOL!

One thing is certain: Anybody that has kept up with Lane Kiffin the last 3 or 4 years KNOWS he's a hell of a good football coach. And he gave Saban a big scare yesterday, with an Ole Miss team full of much inferior athletes. I can see Kiffin eventually replacing Saban as the "dean" of SEC coaches.

Sure, that's a crack at the league (probably deserved and fair at that) but compare that to Rick Stockstill who goes on and on about how hard it is to win games. SMDH.

There's a reason why some a winners and some are perpetually Even Steven.

I'd say his new employer has a strict Social Media policy which they said they would monitor and enforce upon him signing his contract. 05-mafia05-ban
