I'm getting the feeling it may not be Oklahoma or Texas

Yah winner of this game may just be the team that decides to hold onto the ball.

Impressive win by Houston the other night.

Once we stopped gifting the ball to Tulane we looked halfway decent. Gotta clean that before the BYU game next week or they're gonna take us to the woodshed.

what a stupid targeting play by the Tennessee guy in the Georgia/Tennessee game. One of the dumbest that I've seen.

RE: A Pleasant Day to Watch a Football Game (Gameday 10/10/20)
Going back to 2016 when UT was looking to replace Strong, was Herman really the best they could do? I know he came from a good coaching tree and helped Meyer win a natty, but as an actual HC he was seriously unproven. He had a stellar first year at UH going 13-1 but he did that with another coaches recruits. The next year he was able to lead the team to two great wins against a Baker led OU team and a Lamar Jackson led Louisville team but we won those games primarily because of Todd Orlando's defense. Even if you concede that he has a knack for being a big game coach, he hasn't shown that he's capable of keeping a team focused week in week out. Last week they showed a graphic that his teams have had the most losses while ranked against unranked teams since 2017, but that trend started at UH. His 13-1 UH team's one loss came to a 6-6 UConn team. The following year, after beating #3 OU he lost to unranked Navy and got blown out by an SMU team that finished 5th in it's division. I think UT put blinders on after they saw the OU win. I think it hurt their pride so bad to see another Texas team beat their rival that they ignored the obvious red flags surrounding Herman and gave a 2nd year HC at a G5 school a 5+ million dollar contract. He hasn't been bad at Texas, he's gone 7-6, 10-4, 8-5 and 1-3 against OU (not counting this game), but he hasn't and likely never will get them into the playoff picture. He'll probably get run out of town after this year, whether he deserves to or not, and some unfortunate soul will once again get suckered into entering the pressure cooker. UT owes it to themselves and to their next HC to hire someone with some real experience. The UT job comes with too much pressure for an up and comer. TAMU was able to hire Jimbo from Florida St. There's no reason why UT should be looking to raid the G5 for their next coach as they've done with their last two hires.

Army-Citadel, which kicked off a full 90 minutes after Texas-Oklahoma, concludes before the Red River Shootout.

OU gonna resurge just enough to make sure the rest of the league picks up another loss but not enough to make the playoffs. Herman's gone.

Lmao unless the kicker shanks it

Edit: Is this going to be the Big 12's version of the LSU-TAMU marathon?

So the horse race that was supposed to be on FS1 has been bumped by TCU-KSU (which got bumped by UT-OU) for a full hour-15 minutes now.

Horse racing fans are rioting.

He said Oklahoma fans would be making fun of Gameday for all picking Texas. No, Auburn fans (and everyone else) will be making fun of you after Auburn beats the worst team in the SEC. You saw them last week and didn't like what you saw? They were playing Georgia. A lot of teams look bad vs. Georgia.

Anybody know the rule on spiking? The Auburn QB spiked it backwards. I would think that should be a fumble. But they ruled it grounding.

Arkansas would have recovered if they didn't call it dead. But if they called it a fumble, Auburn would have to kick from 10-15 yards further back when they finally blew the whistle.

To me, that was clearly a fumble. A backward spike is a fumble. Problem was, nobody recoverd it until well after the whistle blew so you couldn't give ARK the ball.
