Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden on Thursday refused to say whether he supports adding additional seats to the Supreme Court, saying he won't reveal his position until after the November election.

"You'll know my opinion on court packing when the election is over," Biden said during a campaign stop in Phoenix.

"It's a great question, and I don't blame you for asking. But you know, the moment I answer that question, the headline in every one of your papers will be on the answer to that question," he said.

Biden suggested that major media coverage of his stance on the Supreme Court would needlessly distract from "what's going on" in America.

So Biden answers the question by not answering. That should tell voters everything they need to know.

Liberals don't care if he does. Its the only way they can enact their socialist BS on the rest of America.

If the Democrats pack the court, our only recourse is another civil war. As much as I hate to say that I see no way around it. Their radical agenda will alter our Nation forever. We will have no choice but to take our Nation back by force.

Yes, but he needs to do well with the 50+ moderate vote and I think this election will be determined by this group of people in swing states. He isn't doing well with minorities. I expect numbers to be a little better than Clinton, but I also expect Trumps numbers with minorities to be better as well than in '16.

You cannot disregard changing the balance of powers in this country and expect those in the middle to just say ok we'll wait and see lol. Normal people respect the balance in power even when it's not in their favor. This will be a radical change to this democracy and he's trying not to be radical at the moment.

Just say yes and put it all out there. This IMO makes him seem untrustworthy which is also a large part of their campaign with Trump being so called untrustworthy. This can be a big win for Trump I think. Should be one of the major points in next debate after this comment and I saw today the RNC is going all in with 60+ mil of starting today until the election. Expect plenty of ads to focus on this point alone.

If Biden packs the court.. he better pack his bags. 2 out of 3 Americans oppose court packing.

The annoying thing is he keeps repeating that if he answers it, it will be the lead news story...as if anytime Trump says something it isn’t blasted far and wide for days.


Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are not capable of leading.

Coney should tell the Senate Democrats that she will announce her current position on Row v. Wade after she is appointed.

Instead of packing the court, maybe the Dims should actually win elections so that they could place judges on the Supreme Court.

You can find out what's in the legislation after its passed.

Be interested to see if Turley announces his plan not to vote for Biden.

They should just change the question to “why don’t you trust the American people enough to let them know your stance on this topic?”

Biden wont be able to brush his own teeth by then.

When the election is over, President Elect Trump and the public isn't going to care what Biden's position on court packing is.
