Spring Football
The Ohio Valley Conference announced their spring football will start February 21 with all games to be played on a Sunday. Easter Sunday will be an exception with that weekend's games played on Saturday April 3. Each school will play 7 conference games.
March 7 will be an open date for the OVC men's / women's basketball tournaments.
FCS playoffs will begin April 24-25.
Good to hear something. Hopefully the SoCon plan will be out soon.

RE: Spring Football
If you go by TN Tech's schedule you can probably back into what ours will possibly look like.
Since they'll be preparing for the same playoffs we are, the season will likely start 2/21 and finish by 4/11. Whether we play on Saturdays or Sundays is another question. Also looks to be a conference only schedule, and we can probably expect only 3-4 home games.
I would guess our schedule will look a lot like theirs.

At least we are hearing something of their planning. As stated, it looks like we will have something pretty soon. It will be interesting to see how the do the basketball schedule. Also, I would love for the football team to schedule one game after the Blue/Gold game. This could be with someone like Tenn Tech who is in a similar boat with us. The tape of that one game could be studied by the coaches and players all winter to prepare for the Spring season. All I can say is Go Bucs!

Building the football schedule so that football, basketball, and baseball could compliment each other, even combination ticket sales with staggered home times, could be positive? Just saying anything with a positive spin for a change is helpful.

Yes they can be very creative and make for some good packages. And we could get lucky with some decent weather this Spring. March sometimes gives us some nice weather.

Interesting that the Furman- Citadel game is a “no contest” and Considered a forfeit, since Citadel played too many games in the fall.
Maybe if the NCAA gives a waiver, they will actually play.

Does any one know the official first day of practice? We are so lucky to have the Dome as a practice facility. It will serve us well during these cold practice days. Go Bucs!!

RE: Spring Football
I got an email from the athletic department asking whether I planned to attend this Spring. I opted in. I hope I get the chance to see the Bucs take the field this Spring.
