Has anyone in Monroe has heard whether the team might be changing travel plans to get of the state a little earlier based on Delta's impending arrival? Just curious.

I haven’t heard anything, but Delta also isn’t supposed to get anywhere near Monroe until late Friday night. Monroe is about as far north in Louisiana as you can get.

Aware of that fact. But as someone in the Gulf cone of uncertainty more often than I prefer I also recognize the weather on the north side of the storm it can get nasty long before the eye passes over North Louisiana. It might be tough to fly out of Monroe anytime on Friday.

Looks like this game is replacing UL/CCU on ESPN2 at 11 tomorrow.

It did indeed. We were originally supposed to be ESPNU.

Plane was being loaded around noon today.

ULM looks historically bad. This team would finish last in the FCS Southland conference.

So glad we didn't lose that game last week. Jesus.

I have a serious question for the people who have followed ULM for a while.

How many head coaches have you hired away from McNeese State and how many times has it been successful. Matt Viator from the day he was hired, to me was an underwhelming pick. The Monroe area might be tough to pitch to a recruit but as I said last week, there is enough talent out there for anyone to pick up. Viator and his staff either can't identify or evaluate talent or they can't coach up and elevate the talent to where it needs to be once they get on campus. Or it could be and probably is a combination of both.

Also, losses like these aren't determined Aug-Jan. They happen from what you do late March early April to the end of July.

What's funny is that ULM had so many primetime national TV slots this year, it feels like I watched ULM more than my own team so far lol..

This has been a bad day for ULM. First most of campus loses power due to Delta, now this.

Granted they looked terrible this season, but ULM seemd to be turning the corner and figuring their offense out against Georgia Southern last week. Gave them a benefit of doubt.

That isn't exactly setting the would on fire. Without your Auburn transfer at QB you are most likely coming into this game 1-3. Lets not pretend that Liberty is world beaters, thats just not the case. If not for Willis at QB Liberty would be a below avg team.
