2020 season is like all teams on a Ferris Wheel examing the sports horizon, every other wheel social distancing. "Oooh, did you guys see that awesome explosion?!"

"That one's gonna' cost us another 3 games."

Not something I'm worried about as far as Houston or football.

Agreed, but we've seen games in recent years where they've actually had teams in the path of the major hurricane stay home (to be with family), instead of playing their road game half a country away. I remember seeing this happen with USF not playing a game somewhere up in the midwest because of this (Irma I think it was). Miami wouldn't play in Arkansas because of a hurricane impacting Miami.

Houston is 5 hours away from New Orleans. Not really “half a country away”.

Tulane got on an airplane to go to the game. It looks like UH gets to start the season.

Need this game to be played, regardless of outcome - the coug's can't open the season next week with BYU and the ponies could use some help here.

My point exactly. If games half a country away get cancelled for hurricanes, than very possible for two teams 5 hours apart.

Got it. I didn’t read it that way. Thanks for clarifying.
