Open Thread - CFB - Oct. 8-10
Games of interest this week. I have in parentheses () the amount of 4/5 ☆ recruits for each team.

Game of the week
Miami (36) vs.
Clemson (46)
I'm excited to see if Miami "is back". I think Clemson (-14) covers the spread.

The rest
Tulane (3) vs.
Houston (7)
This is a solid Thursday night game.

Florida (48) vs.
Texas A&M (42)
Can A&M beat a top 4 team at home? I'm saying hell no!

Virginia Tech (16) vs.
North Carolina (20)
This game looks good on paper but how exciting will it be?

Texas (53) vs.
Oklahoma (51)
I have no idea about this game? I will say, Tom Herman knows how to do less with more better than any coach out there. He has officially passed Jim Harbaugh.

Tennessee (36) vs.
Georgia (67)
This could very easily be "The Game" of the week. I hope Tennessee will stay competitive in this game.

C. Carolina (0) vs.
Louisiana (3)
Battle of unbeatens and is there a better name than "Ragin Cajuns" in all of college football?

My CURRENT top 10.
1. Georgia
2. Alabama
3. Florida
4. Clemson

5. Tennessee
6. North Carolina

7. Virginia Tech
8. Oklahoma State
9. Louisiana
10. Miami (fl)

Off topic: Surgery went well and I am able to remove these damn compression socks today, I am happy!

C. Carolina vs. Louisiana is postponed. I was looking forward to that game but the hurricane has altered that. Thinking of you all down there and stay safe.

I have found that if you don't come in and worship the "home" team then you must be a troll no matter what. Having a diverse view isn't welcome much anymore. I don't know if society is bleeding into here or vice versa.

Very well said! Feelings get hurt very easily today, it's sad.

Congratulations Texas A&M, I didn't give them much of a chance today.

Not sure why Texas A&M is ranked one spot lower than Florida now.

The polls are a joke.

The polls are a joke.

Especially with teams ranked that haven't played yet. Heck Penn State moved up 2 spots last week and they have yet to field a team. 04-cheers
