RE: Top 25 Polls 10/4
Love to see Tulsa RV. They deserve it through 2 weeks. If they were a brand name team from a P5 with the exact same results through 2 weeks they'd probably be top 20.

cincy goes there in 2 weeks - could be, surprisingly, a big game for both, and for the AAC as well.
Isn't UCF @ West Tennessee Teacher's College next week - should be intense, the loser is probably out of contention for the league title

2 weeks. Both have bye weeks between now and then.

AP Poll is a joke. Look at the way they treated UCF-Tulsa compared to lsu-Miss St.

Are you really surprised? Auburn looked horrible last night. Did they even drop on the polls?

Just watched the highlights of Memphis SMU.... man either both those offenses are just astounding or both those secondary's are garbage.... I can't quite decide which one is more true.

The answer is bolded. Look at our (both teams) average points per game history. It was a great game, even if we got off to a slow start. 2 VERY good quarterbacks.

No garbage on either team, just a hard fought game. Look at the 2nd half, both team's defense really stepped up to stop talented QBs/teams.

I don't call letting Roberson go for 240 yards "stepping up". Roberson is good, but he's not THAT good.

Is SMU-TCU postponed or outright cancelled? Honestly I think you have the brand cache in football to at least be in the CFP conversation this year with an undefeated season. You just need that "P5" win or we all know what the excuse will be to keep you out.

Most likely cancelled this year unfortunately.

You clearly didn't watch the second half. Roberson accumulated 200 of SMU's 363 yards in the first half whereas he accumulated 43 of 186 in the second half.

And yet Beuchelle still completed 16/24 in the second half for nearly 150 yards. Memphis only had 2 3rd down passing stops all day and zero interceptions.

Just woke up from my hangover
So a Memphis win would probably put UCF back in 20-25 range...

Actually, yeah, he is.
There's a reason he's a preseason All-American candidate who was leading the nation in receiving, albeit under weird circumstances.
Just ask Temple, who tried to cover him last year with their better-than-average defense. Roberson had even more yards against them than he did against Memphis. Or TCU, who got burned time and again, even with P5 all-conference DB's.
There's a reason the SMU fanbase is freaking out right now....

How about the game against Tulsa where he went 4 catches for 35 yards a 3OT game?
