But really, if you were an admin at App, how could you not postpone this game? Last week we had DL playing OL, DBs playing WR. We are not two-deep at the moment, so we aren't even allowed to play.

League rules aside, a student just died, the campus overall is seeing a massive spike in cases, people want in-person classes canceled, etc.

We can't even practice. How are we supposed to play a football game this weekend?

And lets be real. If this happened to ULLLLLLLL a week before arguably the biggest conference game of the season, they would move the game too.

Dude you went to one of the Cajuns' message boards and started the same crap. Look, our fans are disappointed and, yes, I'm sure there are a couple that think App is ducking us because they won't be at full strength.

Reality is, the vast majority of Cajun fans get what's going on up there. We sympathize with your plight. If this means we have to go to Boone in December for a make up, so be it.

Get healthy as fast as you can. The league needs you to play your schedule.

I still contend that it’s tougher to play in the early September heat of Louisiana and South GA then the cold of December. You can only take so many articles of clothing off before you’re in trouble but you can always bundle up and turn on a space heater

I agree. Ask stAte when they came play a 3:00pm game the first week of Sep. it’s was 110 degrees on the turf.
Or how bout the Boise game at Cajun Field a few years back? At 11am first week of sep. It was beyond brutal especially on the student side. The Boise fans were dropping like flies as did a Cajun band student at half time. The only shade was from the light poles so people were lined up along its shadow lol. AASI was extremely busy that day. And oh yeah we also stunk it up that game.
