Nah, Clemson figured it out 40+ players tested positive in July. That's how you beat this thing.

Been preaching this since July. If you just say that everyone has had it, you get to focus on football after a few weeks. When actual cases do pop up, you just sweep them under the rug and chalk it up to injury.

You know... unless some kid messes around and dies or something. But it's all good, because FOOTBALL.

The Sagan standard should apply to claims this is a disease that you can get more than once in a calendar year.

Lol...yeah...i hear ya. But I also told a friend in Korea in February that there would be no shutdown. People here need to go to Walmart and football games. And here we are.

Same ole Panama..claims people are fantasizing or obsessed with him / GagSt when he is literally posting in a thread that has nothing to do with him and or GagSt....what meds exactly do you forget to take sometimes? I guess GagSt has a chance to make a ring again for a nonlosing season or we would not be seeing him around 03-lmfao If both App and GaSt dont beat this GS team its is going to be rough on here as both should be 10+ favorites...

Those are 2 and 3 days after our game on the 14th. You'd think all other sports would be following similar moves.

We postponed those due to contact tracing requirements on our volleyball team. I think our football game with App is more up to the personnel that they have available.

From what I read last night, their positives would be available but anyone quarantined from contact tracing would be in their final day of isolation on the 14th.

I don't think it happens guys.

I don't have any insight, but I think we can play on Dec. 12.

Winter months include every kind of cold cough flumonia bug getting added to the list of potential ways to further spread this thing. If you can spread the virus without having a cough I imagine having one from the sniffles just adds fuel to the fire. December I would expect only gets worse.

I read an article that stated 14 players would be on the last day of quarantine due to contact tracing and not being sick. If it was just contact tracing and not infection are they available to play right away if the game is moved to Thursday or Saturday? Or do they have to do the return to play protocol that a sick kid has to do?

Those players would then have ~1 day of practice even with a shift to Saturday due to travel.

App isn't going to want that.

Highly likely it's moved. In which case we need to contact FAU as they are free the 17th and we could play our game then and give us another date back in Dec to make up potential conference games.

It depends on the players, if they are down the depth chart who cares. My question is after the 14 days are they immediately eligible? I think infected kids are ten days then the return to play protocol of I think three days. If the game is moved so be it but if you are not going to play due to kids coming out or protocol or qaurantine you might not play another game. The article stated 11 I think would be in the last day of 14 day quarintine but I did not know if thay mattered anyway as Saturday would be the third day of the return to play protocol IIRC making is a non issue anyway.

Does anyone know if the non sick contact tracing players are immediatley eligible to play or practice on day 15?

They had double digit positives plus staff positive.

The contact tracing is going to affect a LOT. In contrast, we only had like 2 positives and we were down 33 players in our opener.

No HC worth a damn is going to want to immediately go play a game with players that have had 1 day of practice in 2 weeks. It's suicide. It's also possible they get hurt without getting back into the flow of things.

I will honestly be more surprised if I'm sitting in Paulson next Wednesday than if I'm sitting at home.
